Installed AM, great product. Lots of potential. Totally impractical (from a g1000 perspective).
It’s not AM’s fault in the slightest, completely on ASOBOs end. The FPS hit is incredible. 50% reduction popping out each g1000 screen. With a Ryzen 9 5950 and 3080Ti we go from 60 FPS at ground and low alt to upwards of 90 away form urban areas or open water. Extracting the screens drops these to 20 FPS. Just ain’t worth it IMO.
Have been mulling over a touchscreen setup but will not spend the $ until or unless Asobo corrects the issue (assuming it can be resolved).
