Airbus A320 No aileron control before touchdown

do you fly in calm winds? Anything that is a normal day can recreate this issue.

I don’t know what you mean with that? you can clearly see that the plane is reacting properly to my input the whole flight. Untill that moment at 40ft. It happends every landing.

I doubt the real a320 does that…

I’m basically always flying with all wind levels deleted.

yes the wing dip bug is present no matter what when you have live weather with a decent amount of wind (10 kts for example) what is causing it is the transition where the FBW system goes into the landing and flare phase and exchanges the control over to you more.

that would do it, not exactly the case when so many people fly with wind/real weather.

In turbulence the A320 is the worst aircraft I’ve ever flown in more than 17000hrs.

You hit a gust which rolls the A320 e.g. to the left, you apply full right sidestick and you wait…and wait…no fun at all.

Don’t make it to hard for yourself ofcourse haha.

But anyway… that explains it then doesn’t it?

yep the flybywire guys even acknowledged the issue and are waiting for asobo to fix it. If you fly without wind you are not going to experience the bug that has been present since alpha.

This means that you agree that it’s a gust?

no it’s a bug, fly with real weather or a bit of wind to know where we are coming from. Blaming it on the simpilot is ridiculous.

As soon as there’s wind, how do you know that it’s not a gust which causes the bank?

because it does it at the exact place every time, it’s simple to know it’s not a gust. It’s a bug.

No… that means that i agree that it’s less/not noticable when there’s no wind pushing you off the centerline. If there’s no wind there’s little to no corrections needed to stay on centerline. If there’s no corrections needed there’s no noticable problem in input right?..

And AGAIN, how can you not see that i’m constantly correcting the plane fin in those windy conditions. And it works ALL THE TIME. except at that 40ft marker. jeez sorry i get upset but it looks like you’re trying to push your opinion that there’s nothing wrong on to me without actually listen or watch what the problem is in the first place…

Guess I’ll have to try that myself ASAP.

please do, it’s consistent as gravity.

If that’s your opinion, fine.

yes, please go do that.

And for everyone saying i need to turn of the elec systems for the fly by wire. I know that this is a workaround (was also usefull in fsx with the default a320)

This post is more about asobo not fixing this very basic control problem. and as far as i know also not really aknowledging this?

But thanks for letting me know i’m not the only one though!

Just tried 3 xwnd approaches with a 15kts crosswind component and I can’t replicate this problem.

Others have mentioned AI traffic and/or ATC being responsible for this problem and I’m not using AI traffic or ATC.

Guess it’s not there then, we are all crazy. Let’s wrap it up boys!

Don’t understand that one?
