Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any payware Airbus A340s planned or in development currently I think this aircraft would make a fantastic addition to the long haul market for both PC and Xbox

Fast becoming more and more of a historic/retro aircraft day by day thats going to be very soon outlived by its older brother the A330.
I’d love to see one but I guess with A350s, A330s, A321 still to come, not to mention being in competition with the 777,747,757 market etc, its going to fall in the category of a select few buyers much like the Md maddog is…
I hope it comes out but my guess is, it will be a wee way down the list.
We will see how the Aerosoft A330 goes and whether its good enough for the masses to show support for the A340…
But I guess the A340 was flown by quite a few airlines around the world, basically all four corners of the world had a A340 operator so there would be a strong nostalgia market for them…
Yea I hope there’s enough support for Aerosoft to make it but we’ll just have to wait and see, thx for telling me this

I would pay ANYTHING for a good a340-600, I only have Xplane11 still installed because of this plane.
This is probably the most iconic plane ever made by Airbus and one that changed the way people fly over the pond, at least for Europeans.
The market is there, I have seen tons of people ask for it in this forum, and it does not seem like it would be too difficult to adapt the systems and cockpit of an A330 or A320, since they are quite similar.

Exactly. Any dev can rob me blind if they made a study level A340. Any one of them would do to begin with but I need my entire family in my fleet, alongside my PMDG 737, 744. 777 and not to mention the FBW A380

I really liked to understand why they only make similar stuff! The FBW team was already working on the A320neo, why the inibuilds is working on it too?! Inibuilds made the A310 and then made the a300 (almost the same plane). Why they aren’t making different airplane like the A330 or the A340?! Furthermore we have more exemples of this. (I know the FBW team will take a lot of time to make an airplane “fully detailed” but why tf we are getting the same airplane instead of for exemple having a A320neo and A330??=

Hello. Is there an A340, specifically the 600 variant, either in existence or in progress? Also for Xbox users and not freeware.
LatinVFR is releasing an A340 sometime this summer. I want to say it’s the 600 but I would check their Facebook for official details.
Gotcha. I saw it said the 300? Odd choice to not go with the largest model
I am working on an A340-300 as well for free on PC which is expected to release in a few weeks for public testing
LVFR is also making one as well

Toliss with xplane ! It’s excellent.
Would give it a try even if it is LVFR level, since there is no other option in the horizon.
