ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Every time the sim is restarted the last used aircraft is still active, but not the livery and variant. This worked in MSFS 2020, but somehow it only remembers the aircraft type now and not the rest.

  1. Fly with aircraft, with other variant/livery
  2. Quit the sim
  3. Restart the sim and start a free flight
  4. Default livery and variant are selected again of the last used aircraft

Hope they get the livery and aircraft selection fixed soon with the next hotfix. It really annoys me to get other aircraft loaded as I have selected.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Sim doesn’t remember the C172 variant on reload. I select the basic c172, and after a shutdown/reload, the sim forgets and selects the cargo variant. The Change Aircraft screnn still shows the basic varient as “selected”. See video.

All removed, and same issue exists.

Every load of the sim.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load the sim and select the C172 Basic and Official livery.
  2. Exit the sim and reload the sim, the selection is lost and it defaults to the cargo version.
  3. Edit the configuration. You will see that the “Basic” variant is still highlighted in error. (See Video)

We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged

Same problem, No save of livery between sessions like it was in MSFS2020.

  • The variant changes when we restart the simulator.
  • The livery changes when we restart the simulator.
  • If we choose a variant and then a livery, changing the variant requires us to select the livery again. The livery should only change if it doesn’t exist for the chosen variant.
  • If we start a free flight without selecting a livery, the flight begins with a random livery.
  • It is extremely frustrating that every time we start a free flight, the variant and livery are not the ones we selected the last time we exited the simulator.
  • In the Cessna 172, the cargo variant (classic) appears on the airplane page as if it were using G1000 instruments.
  • Please separe Cessna 172 Classic from the Cessna 172 G1000

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

Select the default DA-62 passenger edition for your flight. Make a flight. Shut down FS2024. Start FS2024 back up and select the Diamond DA-62 as your aircraft. The screen will show a picture of the scientific one even though you have the passenger version selected (see picture) and in fact once you jump into the game, the scientific version is what is loaded. It should be persistent. If I chose the passenger edition, that should not change until I change it again.

• Bought the FSR500 on the 2020 Marketplace. It always loads with the UrbanGold livery, and my choice of ArrowNavy is not saved when I return to the sim.

The corrrect livery loaded for me today. That’s the first time it’s done that.
I restarted the sim and it loaded the saved livery again.

Yes, same issue for me. 737Max defaults to business jet every time I launch the sim. Despite me using passenger variant on previous session. No memory.

So say I use the passenger variant then quit the sim, on next launch, strangely on the initial free flight screen it will show the busines jet but clicking on the change aircraft field shows a passenger variant selected but wrong livery, but if I quit from that chnage aircraft screen then go back into it again, the business jetvariant is then shown as selected.

There is definitely something really buggy going on with the UI re variants, liveries and the lack of memory between sim session of what you were using previously. Seems to be happening across all aircraft as far as I can tell.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

MSFS 2024 keeps changing my livery. I like to fly the TBM 930. I only like the white livery. I have lonly ever selected the white livery. But when I start a flight, MSFS 2024 serves up that ugly black livery. So I have to exit the sim, delete the PCK file so that I don’t have a sound issue, and then pick the livery that I want.

TBM 930 and Boeing 737 Max is what I mostly fly.

Hi,

Sorry if this is a duplicate. In the newest 1.3.13.0 aircraft selections are not correctly remembered.

You fixed the weather selection. Thanks for that!

So select the 172, select the Basic model, then select the Official 01 livery. Then fly. Then exit the sim, load it back. Select the airport and launch, the Arial Advertising livery shows after the sim loads. Exit again.

If you go part way into the aircraft selection menu, and back, it seems to then load the correct one up. But straight to fly loads the wrong livery.

MSFS 2020 has it correct. The last plane, variant, and livery is always remembered.

when you load up the sim it doesn’t remember where you closed it. it gets stuck on variant and livery making you go in and fiddle with it until it starts working again.
