Once in a while, I see only the airplane structure as show in the screen capture

This time, I previously saved a flight and when resuming the flight few hours later, only the airplane structure was visible. Inside view was perfectly working. Is this caused by saving a flight ? What can I do to solve this problem ? BTW this is the TBM !

These are due to bottleneck in the loading process from disk drive and memory. Also check if there’s not any power management which turn any hard-drive in hibernation, or on low power consumption temporarily …
If several drives or SSD are present on the rig, a best practices is to move the pagefile on a drive which never hibernate and if able on a different drive than where the simulator itself is located

Would a bottleneck only delay the airplane presentation ? I only have SSDs, so they do not hibernate. Flight sim is on a dedicated 2TB Pcie 4 drive. With AMD 5900X, 32GB memory and 2080Ti, you understand that I never see any graphic problem.

Could that be a problem related to the fact that I saved and resumed the flight ?

Well, even the fastest rig can’t avoid the OS and Sim Core background tasks and as for any processor, all is only pseudo-parallel tasks, in the consumer world (not talking about any other technology area). So, it happens, when the Sim has temporarily not enough resources available, while returning from a heavy background task … Some are using a Sim rig also for other concurrent tasks … at the same time, this could give us also a hint !?!

I did not have any other concurrent tasks.

I did some tests and found something. To make a long story short, the problem appears in the hangar where TBM 930 default livery appears as wire frame (I learned the exact english word !). Other liveries are perfectly shown.

I googled “TBM default livery” and found a thread about this problem and there’s a fix. TBM default livery incl TBM mob gives wireframe in hanger and in the game - Third Party Addon Discussion / Tools & Utilities - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums

A file must be replaced … which fixes the problem. It’s related to the TBM improvement project. So people not using improvement project do not have the problem.
