Today I was greeted by the notification that all my FS2020 purchases have successfully been ported over to FS2024. I clicked the Marketplace tab and indeed, all the good stuff from the old sim was there! But… All of it is now in the new sim! No matter if I want it or not! Any airport that has cause…

The banner at the top of the forum explains this. They have disabled non-aircraft 2020 content to arrest ongoing issues with the content present. They will be enabling the functionality for disabling/enabling this content with a patch coming the week of Dec 9.

NixonRedgrave: Again, apologies for the poor word choice Accepted, but please don’t worry: no offence taken!

NixonRedgrave: I certainly cannot imagine reporting them all Yup. This morning as an example, I loaded in with the basic 152 and did the walk around, got in, closed the door and then I wanted to jump outside again but found the door was unopenable from the inside. So only workaround I coul…

That is exactly the sort of thing I have been tripping all over once I got past my initial day with the sim. Issues such as that are everywhere and it is massively overwhelming. As we start to see sim performance issues complaints roll in, I cannot help but wonder if all this forced upon us 2020 c…

Exactly! I am pretty sure what I am seeing in 2024 at airports are textures from a 2020 airport textures addon that is showing streaming to my sim. I can’t tell for sure unless I can turn it off.

[image] Shark4538: Does anybody know a quick walkaround? Sure. Ask for a refund, like others are doing, and go back to 2020.

I might have found a workaround. [image] Cannot unselect “streamed” packages in my library Resolved I might have figured out a workaround here. It’s painful, especially if you have a lot of marketplace 2020 content but it seems to have worked for me. PC only unfortunately…

I never bought anything in the marketplace in 2020. And with totally vanilla MSFS 2024 Deluxe Premium I have nothing but problems on Xbox X. Almost half of planes (every heavy aircraft) cause CTD.

My concern is now is the imported 2020 content embedded into 2024 already so now its in is there even such a thing as a clean install of 2024. FYI i am loading into 24 without issue now so hopefully we can see some more feedback/fix on the 2020 content issues. <a class="lightbox" href="https://flightsimulator-forums-cdn.azureedge.net/uploads/default/original/4X/e/6/8/e68bf63a7a4502506a80c97d33b034db8779d209.png" data-download-href="https://flightsimulator-forums-cdn.azureedge.net/uploads/default/e68bf63a7a4502506a80c97d33b034db8779d209" title="Screenshot 2024-11-23 at 05-33-52 MSFS 2024 Top Known Issues - Microsoft Flight Simulator" rel="noopener nofollow ugc">[Screenshot 2024-11-23 at 05-33-52 M…

I don’t know if this should worry me or not, about half my 2020 purchases are not in 2024

To think all these could have been avoided if ms and Asobo listened to the community concerns about streamed content and had stuck to the 2020 storage solution with better servers, and the 2024 engine improvements. Things could have been much nicer. Don’t know about others but I never had much prob…

All my FS2020 marketplace items now in 2024: quite a mess!

I might have found a workaround.
