Allow Selection of Departure and Arrival Airports In Missions

The current mission system often lets us take off and land at impossible airports for many aircraft (runways to short), to airports with no ILS in IFR conditions or night flights to airports without runwaylighting. Also the missions often lets us fly to the same areas. It would be nice to be able to select our own departure and arrival airports in different missions and base the income on the flighttime/distance.

FYI, there is an existing wish to allow users to create missions:

Open up the mission editor for users to create and swap missions

I love the mission feature, it still needs a lot of work, please could you open it up so we can create missions and scenarios that we can share with other users. Maybe have a voting system after completion so people rate how enjoyable or difficult it was. There are a lot of us with a ton of real world experience who can add that extra context, language, situations that occur in the real world, especially with SAR, Medical transfers etc. Personally, I’d love to be able to contribute to creating…

Hi, Please stop generating missions for small airports especially anything more then little Cessna 172. Those are just impossible to takeoff or land with havy aircraft bigger and faster then the Cessna. And no, I don’t want ILS for every single mission, especially after that I just love to land manually, but it’s impossible to land on 450 ft grass runway with fully loaded PC-12 NGX or takeoff from 490 ft runway with trees or buildings just after the runway and the mission generation algoritm fo…

Would be awesome if they would allow us to pick any airport for any mission as long as the runway is long enough to take off and land from depending on the plane your are flying.

I am just so tired of medium cargo mission going out of tiny airports. I want a medium mission out of a large airport and landing at another large airport.
