Been doing some checking around but obviously not well ![]()
I’m looking for a moving map for my older Samsung 10" tablet that connects to MSFS and also displays airspace boundaries. I have just tried the Tambucho FRadioPanel and while it worked well it has no airspace boundaries. I fly only local (in NZ) GA VFR and there’s plenty airspace around here so want to remain clear both vertically and horizontally. Any other options that also include airspace? Cheers.
You can use littlenavmap.
Turn on its webserver

And this will look like on your tablet via a browser
Just tried this, terrific! The LittleNavmap menu option to turn on the webserver is in ‘Tools’ and the webserver name seems to be the PC’s name plus a period plus ‘home’ plus a port number. So mine is asusf15.home:8965 You may get a Windows Firewall warning that you have to allow. Thanks @Zeke12587 for this, don’t know how I missed it.
Little NavMap is the cat’s whiskers. I can’t believe it is free.
I think everyone who owns it should buy the developer a cup of coffee - at the least.
Thanks for this!
I currently have LNM on a 15.6" touchscreen monitor but am strongly considering getting another matching monitor and using them both for Popout Panel Manager. I wondered whether I could move LNM to one of my iPads. Now I know I can!
Sadly, it was quite underwhelming on the iPad. I’m sure it’s a mismatch in screen resolution. My iPad is an older model, and I all I could see in Safari was the area around my plane.
Also, the web server doesn’t run as a Windows service. If I closed LNM the web server shut down.
I’m not complaining - it was a good thing to try. But I’m keeping LNM on my 15.6" HD monitor.
Thanks all, I will try this. I was hoping for just a native Android app rather than a web app, but although FSRadioPanel seemed good, it doesn’t have airspace in either the free or paid. I’m just looking to stop gap for a year or two as when I start flying IRL again (long story) I’ll use OzRunway RWY with the simulator option, but the annual subscription is way too high for just playing flight sim!
Thanks again.
