Early previews available on SiamFlight’s Discord. They did a great job with VTBS so hopefully they can bring us a better version of RKSI than Pacsim’s ageing (but still allegedly decent) rendition.
Reminds me what happened to those MSFS2024 updates from Pacsim? Another developer with the “coming soon” in their logo. If this rendition is better than Pacsim’s I’m in!
KSLC should release this month, then all effort is into KABQ. RKSI is due after KABQ.
Glad to hear this coming from SiamFlight. Really like their VTBS and its night lighting. It’s a shame about Pacsim. They’ve been promising an update for about a million years. There are aspects of Pacsim’s RKSI that I do like, while other aspects are very lacking and very clearly need an update/redo. In the year 2026 it is far from where it should be. Looking forward to SiamFlight taking this on.
Pacsim’s has been in and out of my basket like a fiddler’s elbow but every time I’ve arrived at the ‘pay now’ page, I’ve decided against it. No doubt a top product in 2021 but airport development — and hardware capabilities — have moved on since then. I do like that Pacsim created a lot of RKSI’s surroundings; and I think we’re quite lucky to have SiamFlight on the case as they too are adept at off-airport modelling.
I’m not sure how far off release SiamFlight’s is but I think we’ll see it before Pacsim’s v2. Make no mistake, though: Pacsim is now a top-tier developer.
