Was tempted for a short while today to buy it with the new update, but it seems its still a long way to go till they get to a state where the plane is worth the asking price. I‘ll wait patiently a while longer then.

I am totally with you. Tempted, but don’t want to go through the disappointment of not having proper functionalities. So practising patience until it will be released officially.

Yeah, definitely don’t buy it if you want or are expecting a fully functional product. Think very early FBW A32nx. Flyable, some things broken, some things not there, some things work. Cockpit is OK, sounds are functional, nothing mroe. Definitely buy it if you want to contribute to the dev process. But to just boot it up and fly here and there, definitely wait.
I am personally torn. I see the potential and most things work well enough for short hops. The fact that MCDUs, PFD and MFD seem to randomly freeze on a whim is a big issue for me, though.
I just had a fairly successful flight with most things working as intended. And then, 20 NM from the destination the PFD froze. Also APP mode would not arm for nothing. Had to use secondary instruments and was still able to hand-land safely. Still, unless I actively turn on failures, I really would like my systems to work properly.
I do think once the issues are ironed out, though, this will be a great plane and I am looking forward to using it more frequently.

Just completed another flight, this time from KPSC (Tri-Cities) to KSLC (Salt Lake, Utah). Using version 0.9.2. The flight worked very well, including an ILS approach and landing on Runway 16L at KSLC. The only problem was after the landing was complete, with other planes like the 737 I can have arrows that direct me to the right gate. With the Embraer 175 this does not happen. I used LittleNavMap to find the gate that was assigned, but I could not get there because a building was in the way, so I parked in front of it. Got credit for the flight hours, but used ALT-B before shutting down the engines and turning off the batteries. Probably this feature has not been implemented yet for the E-175.
It’s confusing now having split releases (and the older 0.9.2 doesn’t work with fs.to liveries, even the latest official ones from FSS); however, for me 0.9.5 rev2 is the first usable version with decent fps and I haven’t had any major issues yet. I’m cautiously hopeful but odd how long it took to fix such a serious perf. issue. I think they could have avoided a lot of negative initial reviews if they’d waited and started with this version.

Just completed 800 hours, finally! The last flight was from KPSC (Tri-Cities) to KSAN (San Diego, CA) in the FlightSim Studio Embraer 175, version 0.9.2. Noticed that the taxi ribbon option was on, but no taxi ribbon arrows were displayed.
Version 0.9.6 0f the Flightsim Studio Embraer 175 has been released as the Experimental Version. Downloaded it yesterday and made a flight from KPDX to KSFO. This version seems stable, other than no glide slope capture on runway 19L at KSFO. On the discord site some have been reporting engine failure issues but I did not have this problem. The stuttering problem appears to have been resolved.

I just bought the E175 and can’t get the throttle calibration to work. I am using the stable version,not the experimental. I have a Bravo throttle and a TCA Airbus. Nether one works correctly with reverse thrust selected. When the throttle is at idle, max reverse happens.
Found the problem! My sensitivity setting on the throttles were not linear. Now it works fine!

Version 0.9.7 of the FSS Embraer 175 was released today. Made two test flights so far. The first was at KPDX to see if it would capture the localizer and glide slope for runway 10R, which was successful. Then made a flight from KPDX to KPSC, landing on runway 21R at KPSC. This was also successful, but on the first approach did not capture the glide slope, so had to go around and make a second attempt. This time captured both the localizer and glide slope and landed on 21R. Understand that a simbrief plan can be loaded into the E-175, but have not tried this yet. There are still issues, but this version is much improved for me over 0.9.2 and 0.9.6.
