Just one small piece of advice from me. I see some developers make this mistake and have a similar level of polygon detail and texture all over the airplane, but I think it is much smarter to focus on super high polygon and highest res textures in areas that are close to eyes from the pilot’s POV when looking around, also when looking back in the cabin. That includes the window frames, panels, and the upper part of the seat itself, otherwise things will look blocky from the default pilot perspective.

Wow. Look nice and more faster than Milviz team :joy:

Hi Seweryn! All our textures (albedo, orm, nor) 4k (4096x4096). 4K textures doesn’t effect FPS. High amount of polygons have significant influence on FPS and usually designers use Smooth modifiers and Normal maps whenever is possible. Only curved pipes always have even small but visible “corners” and no matter how many polygons you have because Smooth modifier doesn’t work in all planes in a same time.

Real skydiving a/c didn’t have seats, you just crammed as many in as you could

Being an active MilViz supporter for years, their porter made me fall in love with this aircraft, so I’m going to get this one too  It looks great, especially on the floats

Thank you dumpsterfire248!
Developers use the same airplane model but we are making different add-ons in terms of Modeling, Texturing, Flight Dynamics and Functioning. Developers teams use variety of modeling techniques, have different engineering experience and their final product always different.

Yes the skydiving altimeter is set for QFE (ie dropzone altitude) before engine start IIRC

All we need now is some skydivers to drop

And to chase during descent, with bonus points when you hit one, extra flight if you hit several in the same time !
Same pilot fly again !
The SkyPinball is just a game of skill

Will the individual cargo models be affected by the load you configure?

Nice. I’ve seen some other planes do a similar thin, but not to that degree.

Would it be possible to do it with the passengers as well, spawning something in a given seat at a certain weight? Not sure about the avatars. They’d look strange if they were all pilots with their feet stuck out on invisible rudder pedals. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi hobanagerik! This is easy to do with passengers. But passengers have one problem - their clothes! Clothes must be suitable for winter and summer in a same time. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I think nobody would mind if they did not fit all seasons and were just spring/autumn clothes that would also fit summer (light jackets). Cannot wait to see how SWS did it in their Kodiak.

With all the possibilities of choice with the “Magic Buttons” (GPS, altimeter, cargo load, copilot, cabin config and so on), I hope there will be a way to save at least one prefered config, ideally several.
Would be a lot of work and waste of time if we need to redo all at each flight.

To be fair, MilViz does exactly that with their PC6. But this is not for this thread, just to mention.

Hi PlumbGlue67!
Don’t worry! Skydive variant doesn’t have all this options, even no Copilot and his seat. Skydive Altimeter will not have any scale, anyway you will read only Red sector! All you need, is to spawn at 12K already without skydivers and with closed Slide door, move Throttle full back, Stick full forward, and dive to the ground faster than skydivers. You will definitely save your time! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :+1:
