Yea, I will get to Europe next. I live in France myself so TGV will be fun. America does big trains very well, but it’s not so good in fast trains.

Oh this is going to be great! Living in Chicago we have a TON of rail traffic and this is sorely missing from the scenery. Can’t wait!

Agreed & same here Chicago region resident. looking forward to this! Thanks for making.
Would be cool if there was the Metra trains in Chicago area.
What’s the release eta?

Release ETA is within 30 days. Chicago must be great for railfans; you can see on the map it’s the center of the network. Reminds of that phrase ‘all roads lead to Rome’.

Lol…this will melt Xbox …Imagine 3rd Party airports, 3rd Party aircraft, Ships and trains…we need a new Xbox Generation with 128 GB RAM… at least.
But we will get only 32gb.
Awesome and yeah for sure. Lots of rails by ORD too.
Meh we’ll see. I’m on Xbox and and have tons of add ons. Only issues I have are the base sim stutters and pmdg 737 mixed with a high end airport, sometimes lagging. I think will be fine.
Perhaps you might consider China as an option, as they did high speed trains pretty well
Sadly OpenStreetMap is banned in China, and their government is not releasing open data. Without data it’s impossible… China already a mess in the sim because MS can’t get data for same reasons. Also those Trains travel on elevated viaducts for hundreds of miles; that presents another challenge.

It would b great if MSFS could be combined with TSW or the like.

Well to be fair, despite the ban, OSM still has very accurate data on Chinese railway system. Besides, OpenRailwayMap and China Railway Map also covered a great deal of information. These are not official publications but community creations just like OSM. Your second point makes total sense, as bridges are already weird in the sim.

Same. I’ve yet to make a single marketplace purchase.
If you want a stretch goal of things to include, I think it would be cool to have Christmas trains around that time of year. Maybe even a few Halloween trains. Not sure about the rest of the world, but we have a few of those running around the U.S. at those times of the year. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is especially cool looking all decked out in the aerial photos I’ve seen of it.

I’m curious, why you are and @HXArdito avoiding the marketplace? What’s wrong with it? From my perspective, as both a customer and a seller, I have no complaints with it.

No proof of purchase, you can’t easily manage your addons with AddonsLinker, updates take forever to go through their verification process, sluggish download speeds… Just to name a few reasons.

In addition to the above, my biggest beef is the lack of an easy refund system or try before you buy option, combined with a poor rating system. A product could get rave reviews, and I’ll still be one of those people that finds something deal breaking for me once I try it personally.

slow updates, unorganised, encrypted addon that can cause some troubles, no proof of purchase. Its just easyer to buy on the established markets as ORBX, Contrail, Simmarket etc… you can manually manage your AddOns and updates by the dev are published in a matter of hours, instead of weeks.
Also its spammed to the brim with Trash-Cashgrab Addons which delay updates for weeks from the trustworthy high-quality devs.

Things have improved somewhat in last few months with 3rd parties being responsible for functional testing. At FSExpo Mabel and Jorg mentioned that with 2024, 3rd parties will be in control of the release/update cycle. So I hope in future Marketplace may provide a better experience.
