The Injector system has a fallback system that works exactly like that, to use your example: a real TAP A339 flight Lisbon - Sao Paulo will be rendered real time in your sim by a TAP A333. The size difference between those two models is negligible and the livery is actually from TAP A339 Vasco Da Gama
icao_airline code is according to icao standard whatever the provider is. Of course FSLTL has these codes edited as supposed to. Otherwise nothing works right. FSLTL also works with Vatsim.
How will injector work if there isnt TAP A333? Lets see this, you have TAP fleet with A320 and CRJ9. Will Tap A339 spawn with Tap a320?
It will show a blank A333 as far as I know. Thatās how MSFS works.
Only if the model doesnāt exist the injector will replace it with a different model.
At this moment FSLTL has a TAP fleet of A333,
A321, A320, A21N, A20N and A319, which covers most of the fleet. TAP E190 (TAP Express) will be done at some point.
I donāt know how exactly the fallback substitution system works but the ones Iāve seen in-sim make perfect sense.
Yes, if the models are there. At the moment it picks the GA default traffic from Asobo.
FSLTL is planning to release GA models in the future. First things first.
I canāt wait for this. date of release?
Yes ⦠WHEN plz
the mod will be out as soon the installer is ready. Models and liveries will be continually WIP.
If you have knowledge of Node.js/React/Electron and youād like to collaborate to the project please contact Sofie in the FSLTL discord channel
You should make a333 as big as you can get before release, make missing a332 and a339 liveries to that a333 model, so when a332 or a339 is injected, it will be injected with 100% liverie and with a333 model. Same thing to every b777 variants, make one model with all the liveries, so for example b772 model would be injected as that only b77W model you have with lots of liveries. If you arent making all the variants and liveries?
As someone who gets to test this you guys are in for a really good treat. There is someone so nice about taxing on a busy runway waiting for the Ai planes to take off ahead of you while waiting your turn. All the while you can look at Flightradar24 and see those exact planes and where they are going. Sure itās not out yet, or doesnāt have every single plane to ever exist but everything that is added is very good quality.
So ā and correct me if Iām wrong ā it seems the main difference between this and AIG is that FSLTL will pull exclusively from its live traffic data streams to populate the sim world, whereas AIG uses its own AI flightplans to populate the world, with the models also being available to the (not so great) stock live traffic.
AIG is great but still not optimized for MSFS. Unstable at the moment but sometimes it works like it should.
How does one become a tester for this? Iām a livery creator the A320 on FlightSim.to (same username) and would be interested in helping out and being a tester at the same time. Iām on the discord but either need to be approved or Iām doing something wrong cause I canāt see much and canāt post anywhere.
Read #about channel in their discord, instructions are there how to contact devs. (via creating a ticket in #questions-and-support channel or via email)
Yep what the person above me said. I got lucky since Iām the audio dev for Ouroboros EJets and we have talked with them about putting plowed poly version of them in. Thatās how I got to be a tester. Itās really luck and having to know them. Iām sure opportunities will pop up given time, things are starting to open up so you will see me and other testers post a lot of photos and videos of it in action now.
FSLTL is a game changer. Just like live weather and satellite earth data pulled directly into your flight, live AI traffic is the next logical step in the right direction PLUS the addition of great engine sounds, lights, aircraft animations, ground services and 4K liveries makes FSLTL second to none.
I assume - going by the video, which as we know may be misleading - they all are native MSFS models, they have more models, the animations seem more sophisticated.
For me as a VATSIM user this looks way more interesting than AIG - at least for now - and if it comes out soon, and if it holds what itās promising.

HOW CAN I GET INTO CLOSED BETA?
There are four ways. First - you can apply as a painter. Please check the current livery status and available aircraft, so you wonāt get disappointed if a livery you want to paint is already made. Second - you can apply as a Node.js/React/Electron developer for the installer/app. Third - apply as a tester. Please donāt consider this as an early access way - you should be ready to specifically test certain features, this can involve a huge amount of very boring manual labor, sitting in airports for hours and a lot of writing in any case. Tester appliances are considered the latest and you may have to wait (most certainly). Often VATSIM usage is a plus. Streamers are considered as testers. Four - apply as a Blender 3d-artist. Mainly you will work enhancing and fixing models. You may apply via questions-and-support or e-mail (sofiegrozovski@gmail.com), please provide as much relevant information as you can (as experience, liveries you made before, etc). (edited)
Good to see another AI offering on the way. After over a year of waiting we shall have three products to chose from. It will be interesting to see how FSLTL compares with AIG in the realism stakes.
