Quick question, but how do you get the “magenta” line to appear? I know it’s the GPS indicator on the other planes, but I can’t seem to figure out which switch to flip for it to enable, even after watching the youtube tutorial.
Great to see that you guys set up a discord channel.
It appears the discord channel is dead. I haven’t seen anything but one post.
Mr. AI13X7895, please could you share the estimated date for this update via this forum(or GKS Aviasim forum), I do not disco and I do not discord.
Oh, also, will this update include the aerial refuelling ability?
They literally just set it up. When I joined there were 20 users. Give people a few days wow…
Ah, I thought it had been up for awhile since this isn’t a new plane.
For those unwilling or unable to see Discord, updates to the F-111 and MiG-25 are due in January. The MiG-21 is being significantly updated to basically a V2 standard (but my understanding is it will be treated like a complementary update) for both 2020 and 2024, likely in late Spring.
I really hope they fix my dump and burn issue.![]()

The freeware TFR add-on on FSTO is now compatible with the GKS F-111. A community-built custom config file is available from the TFR discord.
I use a Winwing Ursa Minor Fighter joystick with vibration feedback. Normally, it works for all aircraft in such a way that the vibrations are dynamically triggered when there is a change (landing gear retracted, landing bump, stall mode, air brake extended, etc.). However, with the F-111, the vibrations are triggered immediately after the start of the runway roll and are present throughout the flight, regardless of the flight mode. The only way to fly it is to turn off the feedback completely in SimAppPro (the joystick control program), because otherwise it is really annoying and it disrupts the entire flight experience. It does this in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 (PC version). It would be nice to fix it, because at the moment it just stands in my hangar and does not fly. (The A-6 Intruder had the same problem, fortunately after the update it works fine…)
Are the F-111 & MiG 25 updates still on the cards?
Hi, can somebody help me out please, i recently flew the F-111 and noticed that when on the ground ready to taxi, if you switch off the right side engine and allow it to spool down(even with the left still running), when you restart it then every single gauge switches off as if both engines were off as well as the battery.
So now i restart the rhs engine and have both engines idling and all the gauges only start working correctly again when…at idle, when i add throttle then every gauge switches off, in fact, everything switches off excluding the engines. If i reduce to idle then everything reactivates and seems normal until i increase throttle again.
What exactly am i missing? If i start from cold and dark or if i start on the runway then i have no issues, but if i do the rhs engine thing then the issue reappears.
Is this a bug or have i forgotten how to fly?
