The 1.0.8 update was released by IFE yesterday. It wasn’t available on the Orbx store yet as of last night but it probably will be today. Not sure about the Heatblur stor or any other vendor.
Can confirm 1.0.8 is available on Orbx Central.

I had a few issues on Xbox with HUD not loading and my Hotas joystick losing connection.
Anyone else on Xbox with these issues ?
I think this aircraft needs a bit of optimization for us on Xbox.

Edit: Seems like some file is corrupt and cannot be extracted. Did you get the same problem?
I seem to have got two emails regarding the update, with different filenames:
indiafoxtecho-f14_1_0_8.zip (4.39 GB)
indiafoxtecho-f14_1_0_8_repack.zip (4.39 GB)
I’m assuming the ‘repack’ one is correct, since that email arrived later.
I just re-downloaded from their store and it shows as the re-pack version.
Tonight I received a third email with the file indiafoxtecho-f14_1_0_8_HF.zip (4.39 GB)
Where is the difference?
The “_HF” indicates this was the hotfix that was pushed out after I and at least one other person discovered that the Autopilot Master switch could not be set inside the cockpit via mouseclick or keybind due to an issue with one of the files. After we reported the issue, IFE identified the cause within a few minutes and pushed out the fix.

cool beans, I just installed the HF version. Now, going to fly out of KIWA. Raining here in the desert, and always a treat to fly in the rain (and see clouds in AZ)

It really makes you wonder why marketplace updates are always delayed/so slow, if apparently they don’t even bother to check for compliancy with their rules. Like what are they doing that cannot be automated?

They will only disappear if the update is installed. Dont update and keep the weapons. How many users will update? Not many i recon. Bit daft to make it an elective fix

You will eventually lose all the updates and improvements that will come afterwards.
This was just a distraction on the validation process and won’t last much.
I believe most players will install future updates. They bring new features and fix bugs, especially soon after the release where there are plenty of them. I can’t imagine someone holding off the updates only to keep weapons that are useless in MSFS anyway. Unless they bought Tomcat for screenshots and videos…
I believe Asobo is “reverse engineering” the code for high fidelity addons. “MSFS” addons and the updates to their addons have been getting pretty darn good lately. Good for the community as a CONSUMER though.
But, that’s only “ridiculous” speculation on my part.
Anyways, I am finding it very difficult not to choose this F-14 over all the other addons I bought already, for any given flight in any location.
I was going to purchase the F-14, however I’ve just found out that the weapons will be removed? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard…a Fighter Jet with no weapons 
Removed from my wishlist along with all the other Military aircraft that are supposed to have weapons…If only I was on PC 
I just noticed that this has a new ‘update’ on Xbox, only a day after the marketplace update - I wonder what they could’ve added?
I don’t really care either way about visible weapons really, as this isn’t a combat simulator, but I’m not going to update just to take away a feature that in my opinion improves the overall look of the plane.
The next update that adds / refines features though, I will certainly install.
