Any resources to find airline gate assignments?

I’m trying to fly as realistic as possible (Fenix A320), by spawning at a correct gate, that the airline I’m flying, would use. Right now, I’m sort of doing a manual thing by googling the airport, bringing it up on google maps, and hoping thee satellite view has captured parked aircraft at the gates. I’ll also browse the actual airport website for similar info…

Are there any resource out there where gate assignments for airports can be found, in a quick and convenient way?

I am also Googling for the same.

You can try FlightAware. Search by airport code and then look at the gate assignments for all the inbound and outbound flights. Not the best way but it will give you some basic gate information.

You could also search for online charts for the airport, and get some for free. You could also pay for a Navigraph subscription, and get them that way, which has a few side benefits like moving maps.

That’s the thing…I have a Navigraph subscription, but it doesn’t tell you what airlines use what gates at airports. That is what I’m looking for, at what airports, which gates, do each airline use?

If you really want to go as real as it gets you can do the following (as I do often).

1 Decide on the airline and airport combo you want to fly (best to choose a hub airport, low cost is quite nice as they’ll have only 1 airframe type e.g. easyJet)
2 open flightradar24 and go to the airport departures
3 check for a flight with your chosen airline and airplane in the next hour or so
4 click on the flight and then click on the aircraft registration
5 load the playback of the last flight (i.e. inbound to the airport) and check where the aircraft parked
6 cross reference the parking position with your chart (navigraph or check the country’s vatsim page to find)
7 Fire up the flight in msfs and whilst loading start planning with simbrief to the correct destination
8 happy flight!

And if you really want to mimic real world, load up the radio streams from liveatc.net and try to follow. In addition I use psxt with realtraffic and fsltl models to generate real life traffic. So I can literally fly “behind the real world airplane”.
