A320 not follow fpl , not follow heading , creasy , ???
Same here, haven’t had any issues with AP.
Have flown a few flights since update.
FBW devs should stop fixing the a320 and should stop providing workarounds. Because Asobo will then do the same thing they’ve done so far. Why should a mod team fix their issues for them?
Good news is that xbox is not moddable and this aircraft can’t make its way to the xbox version with this state, no one can fly it properly this way
I disagree.
Most XBOX users won´t be programming a MCDU. They just want the aircraft to crash it into a building or try to land it manually. And for that, they don´t need a working auto-pilot. I honestly believe the XBOX version is the root of most of the problems we simmers are facing with FS2020. We are not a priority, and it shows.
If FBW team stops fixing the aircraft, those of us who want to fly an A320 IFR, will be in Asobo´s hands, which efectively means out of FS2020 until someone developes a payware A320.
Honestly, even if I love the eye candy, I need a suitable aircraft to fly over it, and if it wasn´t for the FBW team, I would already have given up.
[hmmm… ’ “would have” or “would had” given up’ ? … my English sucks!]
Not working here , aircraft don’t follow flight plan , don’t follow heading ,
Contected zendesk , Asked TOTAL refund for this game ,
I think the console’s FS2020 have to support mouse and keyboard in order to bring out the full experience of this game.
thx for testing.
Let us know if the fix works for you. Eagerly waiting as my default A320 banked hard right and wouldn’t recover.
I haven’t tried it yet, but seeing some other topics and posts I don’t believe mine will work either. Unfortunately, I’m just having to accept that we’ll probably have to wait for the next patch.
I asked about deleting rolling cache, but I never got a response from anyone so I didn’t try that.
Same problem here. Everything was at least usable until the last patch. Now the AP is utterly unglued. I thought it was the A32NX so I uninstalled it and and tried a cold and dark start with the default A320.
Long and short it tried to kill me on take off, just won’t follow the FP. I tried it again and this time it climbed out but I had to hand fly the SIDS. When I turned on the AP it followed the route with an offset.
Just before I began my descent I programmed my STARS into the MCDU and the aircraft flew wildly off course as if it was tracking the localiser for the nearest airport.
Dear, I have decided to re-install the game again from “0” empty community folder and see what happens, if this is not fixed, I will send this game to the trunk of memories, just jokes. I will say the result, greetings to all the sufferers.
I’ve been flying every day and struggling with the A320 like all you guys. For some reason, some airports seen to cause the issue more than others. I have not been able to use the AP deparing from KSFO and I have the same issue with KLAX. However I have tried quite a few European airports with success. EGLL, EGKK, LEMD, etc.
Not sure what is going on. BTW, in my case it banks hard to the right and never to the left…
Hmm that’s interesting. I’ve also tried both KSFO and KLAX where my AP bugs occurred. Maybe I should try some different airports and see. Still, the airport shouldn’t affect the way AP works, that’s just stupid and still a major bug.
I didn’t try it cause my rolling cache is not activated at all. So this doesn’t seem to be the issue.
Well that figures…
same issues as above since update. think its defo something to do with controller. Im using an xbox controller which worked fine till new update. now constantly rolling to the right even on taxi. Took off on the a320 and pulling to right even in a/p unplug controller and aircraft tracks back onto route plug controller back in and straight away banks right. anyone any ideas?
Of the top of my head, either the thumbstick is worn down or has dirt in it causing erroneous inputs, or your sensitivity in the controls menu got changed during the update. The first option seems less likely, that would be a more gradual thing.
Open up the controls menu, go to the sensitivities menu, move the thumbstick around and let go. Does the dot return back to the neutral point? If not, adjust your neutral point to match. If it does, monitor it for about a minute and see if it moves around on it’s own. Adjust your deadzone to match any inputs you saw. If it’s still been completely steady up to thus point, rest your hands back on the controller like you would while flying and see what the dot does. If the dot moves then repeat the steps above.
Interesting, although airports shouldn’t have anything todo with this? I tried LLBG (Ben Gurion), and I ended up quitting a few minutes in. Hard right bank for me too.
left KLAX a few minutes ago and same issue. I manually flew for a while and removed the first nav point. Same issue. Went to FLT CTL. Disconennected SEC1. Same issue. Disconnected SEC 2 as advised above. Same issue. Ended up disconnecting all FLT CRL and TRIED AP again. AP picked up and still flying straight. Still got 2 hours ahead before touchdown.
I tried the FBW method (when starting C&D, save the flight after spawning and then load it again). And this is the only method which kinda worked for me. Still very low bank to left though (11°). But stays on FP route (a little to the right). Steeper bank to the right (25-30°). Started wobbling beyond ~FL240. I’m playing with the FACs and SECs to see if something helps. I don’t think the ELACs are the issue.
EDIT: on my side it seems to be SEC 2 (overhead right hand side) off to stop the wobbling.
