Log on to your xbox profile in the website (outside of the sim). You can change your xbox gamer tag there once for free, next time you’ll have to pay a small fee.

Your forum and game name is tied to your Xbox Gamer Tag. Once changed, log out and back into the forums and game to see the change take effect.
If your gamer tag was assigned to you by Xbox when you created your account, you may be able to change your gamer tag once for free. After that, you may need to pay a small fee.
