Edited: I just came across this subject elsewhere, sorry.
I just came across this product on the ORBX website and was wondering if anyone had used it.
Seems like good value for a handy quick weather set tool.
i use the Rex Weather Force Tool
It’s actually quite good! Worth £5 of my money and I don’t feel ripped off either having used it.
Worth every penny when you consider the time needed to compile the Weather Patterns on your own.
Problem ! You’ll spend Hours going through the endless possibilities of Weather Patterns , Time of Day etc. 5 Stars !
Yep - better choice than REX in my opinion. Does a fantastic job and much cheaper.
Its fantastic, a low price and saves hours of messing around creating presets.
Excellent. thank you to all responders.
Bought it because I saw your post. Great enhancement for small money, love it.
Excellent value for money, looks great as well.
So far it is neat when i’m not doing live weather.
N898SQ you are cleared for takeoff runway 16R, wind 157 at 171.
Thats with the Hurricane conditions preset. I took off in the 172 and when i got 2’ off the ground the plane goes 90 degrees and upside down
Black screen and try again.
Flying with Big and Bold preset makes for nice scenic views.
I thought I wouldnt like it but I think it has some neat presets that are unavailable if you dont deep dive in the weather config files.
With Rain you actually see the rain hitting the wet runway, and can hear it on the cockpit roof
which you get with default rain as well
Spooky that huh
Yes! I also almost flipped the Airbus due to the default winds! IMO this is too much! What I am missing is generally the option to set a weather independently from point of origin to destination in order to see the weather change! Flying all the time with the same weather conditions can be boring
Hi,
It’s a great product, the quality is great and the price is fantastic. I can really recommend it to you.
Greetings
Matthias from FsVisions.com
Has anyone else noticed the low impact that this Software has on Frames compared to vanilla presets ?
Not that i have noticed, i did just post in the What did you do in the game thread about the immersion it adds to the game, so far very happy.
So right! There are some truly lovely effects. Money well spent.
I got it and love it, well worth the money.
So far I have about 120 hours in MFS, but first flight with Big and Bold setting produced by far the most spectacular cloud formations I’ve yet seen in the sim.
Haven’t had a chance to try any of the other settings yet, but for me kind of worth it just for that!
