I think so too. But i hope not. I want to use the sim again.
I sincerely hope there is going to be a dev update tomorrow with the dev roadmap until Feb and hopefully a word of a hotfix. If not tomorrow, then yes, probably not before Feb. Fingers crossed

I hope for sooner too. I mean this is a key element of the simulator which is not working correctly, but it depends if they see it that way.

No departing live traffic since SU5. Not even bug-logged. No word. Nothing.
Yet, I still hope - being an optimist sometimes can be very frustrating.

I’m afraid that depends on firstly if they even consider it broken themselves. Even if they do, whether they deem it broken enough to fix soon.

Cost benefit of getting live traffic to work --------- LOW (or negative)
Cost benefit of adding more DRM ------------------ HIGH
Live Real world traffic, while being a “Neat” Idea, has probably proved a lot more complex that initially thought.
Adding new DRM products is far easier, more FUN, and far more Rewarding, and makes for happy MS Stockholders.
Broken live weather and broken live traffic, these are the things that upset me the most.

However, with the “new” clouds that look the same everywhere I am getting around 25% more FPS. I’m afraid this is another reason why MS is reluctant to bring back the realistic weather …
LOL the only update we’ve had since release posted just now, is about Reno air races and nothing more. What a joke
Just confirms to me what they are interested in, and it’s not weather.

Yep, but their priorities are all wrong, even from the beginning, not just from SU7. Continuously cramming it with new content and features, all the while basic and core elements were broken or not finished.
