No not sure how to do that.
I have liveries for both a320nx and a320 does the sim take precedence with the nx over the default?
I might have to delete my liveries and start from scratch to eliminate the problem.

The layout file is like a list of the content inside the folder that can be loaded. If you create a soundai folder and don’t update the layout file the game won’t load the soundai folder. You can update the layout.json with software like the MSFS Layout Generator
Ok ive just found it. Should it reference sound?
Ha ha ok i give up! Cant work this out at all. Totally bizarre. Should be so straightforward but the sim doesnt want to know.
Hello,
Since we are talking about changing default aircraft with liveries, I have moved this to Third Party Addon Discussion > Aircraft.
Hmmmm ![]()
Mods on default aircraft are still third-party mods. Anything regarding the FlyByWire mod gets put in Third Party, as well.
I understand, was just pooking fun at how you worded it (hence the smiley).
Your flyable aircraft should not reference anything.
Your AI Traffic livery should reference “SOUNDAI”. But you also need to copy the SOUNDAI folder into the same livery folder as well.
Yep did that. The solution was posted above. I needed the layout file to be updated to include two lines of code referencing the sound ai folder which inc the pkc and xml file.
Tested it on delta, Iberia, Lufthansa will do further testing today.
That seems to have worked thank you!
Thanks to both of you for advice. I’ve tested on three planes so far I’ll do further tests today once I’ve set them up.
