As everyone has their own idea of what this wart could be protruding or not from the planes, I wanted to show images corresponding to the ideas put forward.
I don’t have the exact truth for everything, but I worked for 15 years on ATR 42- 72, from -500 to -600, I still have my type rating courses and this is why I can illustrate my statements and prove that the idea put forward is accurate or not.
This protuberance is definitely a VHF 2 antenna, some planes have it in this location, others do not , depending on their MSN and the modifications applied or not…
Sorry for having ended up posting diagrams of the toilets to show what does the drainage mast look like and possibly disturbing some people…And don’t forget , in MSFS this aircraft is a simulation …This will be my last reply to this post.
