How dare I to be happy with this product while others are (free to) complaining ?
I’m egoist. that’s the point.
For sure I’m amazed by the fancy aspects (at least for the moment) more than being upset for the things missing, but this is simply a point of view, even if I spent the last years building my home cockpit piece after piece, diy almost 90% for saving money, and now I can hardly use some switches configured as an usb device (with a Pokeys U board). But nevertheless I like flying VFR and enjoy the current level of developement - for sure far from complete.
Yeah, in my last intercontinental flight the windows were badly scratched. I had a hard time enjoying the scenery

Before MSFS 2020 one could have a terabyte of sceneries installed after hundreds of hours of search, download, installation of plugins, editing, etc. And still you were not sure to be able to go in some place and discover you missed that area. Not to speak about the different color between different areas, the clouds captured with the ground textures, the thousands of building missing (just the image of the roof) and other areas remained simply global autogen. Now you can go everywhere, and see details you never imagined to be able to find even in photoreal sceneries. This is why for me this is a new era, and of course, it is the first step in a global world simulation, there are many many things to fix. But as I said I prefer being here now and not in 2022 or later…!
No one complained about the first flight simulator, not because it was perfect (of course…) but we were all amazed because it was a new era, and the same was for FSX, and even for XPlane. A new era takes time to reach perfection. For sure the default Laminar B737 is far from perfect for IFR even if it is a good plane.
Different story is for all people who faced big problems in downloading and installing or running the program, this is sad, but the possible mix of system specs today is almost infinite.

Agree, great job with this sim! This is something we’ve never seen before. Beautiful sceneries around the globe. And I’m still amazed about the weather, clouds, different lightning conditions during the day and night, starry sky with real constellations and moon phases! With all this already in the sim gives me patience to wait for those future updates.
