So this started happening for me a week ago after an update and now my Assistance Settings Reset every time without fail. Would you know how to find and repair the corrupted file or am I doomed to reinstalling the entire Sim?
Really hope Asobo figures this one out swiftly… but with the thread starting more than 2 years ago I guess I wont hold my breath.

Are you under SU14B ?, if yes then it happens for everyone and every time your start the sim. They identified the issue and a fix is coming for the Beta. I hope it will also fix this issue for people that have reported it as random prior SU14B came out.

For me this doesnt work. Everything is set to EASY. I change it to REALISTIC, immediately restart the sim. It then resets back to EASY.
Other settings like Graphics appear to save ok, although I haven’t been through everything.

There must be something that’s blocking your Cloud save. Are you sure you’re online, and can access MSFS server?
Neokingrthur, are you indicating that you are in the Su14 beta and are not experiencing the assistance options reset after closing then restarting the sim?
