ATC Panel doesn't show comm options

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When using comm panel, the numbered options to communicate with ATC (change frequency, request altitude change, cancel IFR) do not show at the bottom of the panel without resizing the panel constantly. Occasionally no options show at all.

1. Launch flight
2. Try to communicate with ATC using number buttons
3. Resize panel to hopefully show blue numbered options.
4. Repeat during flight.

• Yes exact same issue and this is a big one. No way of communicating, no way of responding to ATC, no way of contacting them or finding nearest airport in the first place.

The communications window is too shrt and options cannot be seen. There’s no possibility to scroll.

If you pop the comm window out of the main MSFS screen then the options are visible.

• I also had this problem occasionally in SU1. However, then if I manually tuned the correct frequency the ATC response options appeared. Now they will not appear at all.

During my first Dreamliner flight from KORD, I had to use the slew function to push back from the gate. The required ground support options were not visible in the ATC window.

Yes I do. My Reputation currently is at C, because of this. This and Undesignated Area, which I know I land on the prescribed airport.

On PC I am having the same issues with the communications panel, whether the comm panel is on the main screen or on a second monitor.

It’s really difficult to select from the list of nearest airports. No matter how big I make the window, it only shows me 3 or 4 options at a time. And if I resize the window, the options disappear entirely

I have had it happen on multiple planes. Sometimes clicking on COM2 and back to COM1 will show them, but then it resizes and they vanish. I’ve had them come back after a requested change of frequency.

• Yes but in all GA aircraft so far in free flight.

• When using the comm panel choices do not show up 90% of the time. I have tried closing and reopening, moving it out to another screen and back. Sometimes works when you select what to say by pressing the numbers that correspond with the choices. Then you switch frequencies and have to do it all over again.

This has gotten even worse in SU2. Previously you could see up to 4 options. In SU2 you can only see 2 with the hint of a third.

If you mouse over the box, the third pops up but that’s it.

I also have this issue on Xbox series X. I can’t even resize the window. It will also disappear completely eventually throughout the flight.

I thought it was starting to work a little better today, but it soon regressed to unusable trying to contact Portland approach after leaving Seattle Center. Really kills the immersion.
