Since the last update when I start from Cold & Dark the nose wheel does not turn right and left, only if I start in TAXI mode the pedals work and make it turn
make sure gust lock is off
IRL , gust lock doesn’t lock rudder …
GUST LOCK SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
• A gust lock system is provided to protect the roll and pitch controls on ground.
This system includes:
• an elevator mechanical locking device,
• and an aileron electro-mechanical locking device.
• To enable gust lock system engagement, the ailerons must be centered and the control
column positionned slightly forward.
• An hydraulic damper installed between the rudder and the vertical stabilizer protects
in the same way the rudder.
• When gust lock lever is set to ON position, the power levers travel is slightly
limited below FI (Flight Idle).
He unlocked the Gust lock at the front of the rod and did not free the wheel of the nose
I don’t really understand what you mean, but there is no relationship between NWS , rudder and gust lock.
I wonder if this is the same issue as several other bugs, eg ATR 42/72 No blue or green HYD systems or ACW 1 or 2, that since the update the NP% is too low to run the hydraulics when at idle, and the steering requires the hydraulics.
As i been following this i just tried a cold and dark start i have no hydraulic issues, no problems taxing and no warning on mfd
and yes Gust lock doesnt make a difference for rudder

I had the same problem. Turns out I was still in pushback mode. I thought I had disconnected but had not. Once I terminated push back, I could steer. User Error!!
