Just because you have no problems doesn’t mean there aren’t any. I had the same issues with the 9950X3D and 7950X3D in MSFS2024, and they went away after switching back to Intel. So, it seems like it’s more of an AMD issue with the sim.
This mindset of “AMD is best, everything else is garbage” is really getting annoying.
First of all, I never said the problem doesn’t exist, nor did I claim that AMD is the best. So please don’t put words in my mouth.
I simply mentioned that I have an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and don’t experience this issue, just to let others know that the problem isn’t exclusively AMD-related.
But the issue does occur far more frequently on AMD systems, so it does seem to be more of an AMD-related problem. You shouldn’t just turn a blind eye to that.
I’ve been using AMD for several months Ryzen 7 7800X3D, MSI X670E Tomahawk WIFI on Windows 10 and 11 - no audio stuttering. Now Ryzen 7 9800X3D with MSI X870E Carbon WiFi, again Windows 10 and 11 - still no issues. I will not and cannot, claim that this problem is primarily AMD-related.

Stays the same. Good for you, but you’re generalizing that it’s not an AMD problem just because you don’t have it. Many other users are experiencing the issue, so what’s your point? Just saying you don’t have the problem? Cool for you, but that doesn’t help anyone here, because this is a serious issue.
I’ve tried several X870E boards and CPUs, and tested every ‘solution’ suggested here; nothing worked. It’s a real and very frustrating problem that Asobo should have fixed a long time ago.

But it’s 99% certain. However, it still seems like you don’t get it. When the problem occurs (which doesn’t happen on all AMD systems), it’s almost always on an AMD system, nearly 100% of the time.
So yes, it’s an issue that affects AMD systems most of the time, if not every time. The fact that your system doesn’t have the problem doesn’t make this conclusion any less valid.

I have a 9800x3d and had these issues while using a 4080 super. Massive audio crackles and stutters, sometimes causing a ctd. This issue went away for me when I swapped the 4080 for a 7900 xtx. Decided to retest the 4080 super to see if it would run without the crackles. Got it swapped back into the pc, fired up 2024 with the fenix bfu in Klax. Departed eastbound and massive stutters had returned. A few days later reinstalled the 7900 xtx and stutters gone. In my case, my 9800x3d does not get along with the nvidia card. No issue with amd cpu and amd gpu for me. I’m holding on to the 4080s and may build a pc with an intel cpu. Wonder if that combination would fix the stutters.
I have a 9800x3D rtx5080 system and have played many games by now. No other game has this specific problem. In fact, I have not experienced even one issue with any other game except MSFS24.

I can confirm I have exactly the same experience, no other title has any issues whatsoever it’s only MSFS2024
I’ve been experiencing similar stutters. Every several seconds FPS drop from 60 to about 55 and sound starts stuttering. It never happens when I am on the ground, always in the air. The video below is with Fenix but the same happens when flying default A320v2.
Windows 11 resource monitor does not show any spikes in CPU usage. I have 9800x3D and 4090.
I had the audio stutters/drop-outs for the last few months and yesterday I made a few changes to my setup and so far it has solved the audio stutters and related cpu spikes on all cores that went to 100% and the entire sim would freeze for a few seconds, sometimes recovering the sound and sim working and other times I had to force quit. Not sure which of these may have solved the problem for me or of this ‘fix’ Will hold but I wanted to share it in case anyone else wants to try;
I’m on AMD 9950x3d, 5090 GPU, 64gb ram, using the Fenix a320, no multiplayer, no live weather, navigraph on their website and not using the navigraph efb add-on and aut0 fps add-on.
here’s what I decided to try and it worked for 2 flights now on SU3 out of KORD doing a loop over Lake Michigan back into KORD.
Turned off PBO in the AMD bios settings, only running the expo memory setting to set ram at 6000
Stopped using Process Lasso to force MSFS to vcache cores and all other software to frequency cores
Windows power plan at Balanced
Xbox game bar running (set it up once, but don’t have the overlay visible)
Turned off the MSFS assistance setting where the AI pilot responds to the MSFS ATC
Moved the rolling cache to another SSD (not the drive with the OS and MSFS) and set it up to 128gb
Some combination of those things worked for me the last 2 flights and audio never stuttered at all from cold and dark to landing and shutdown, and I had no sim freezes or stutters. Will keep flying and report back.
The problem is that those are just placebo solutions, which won’t work for long.
All of these “solutions” pop up here every 4–5 weeks, but unfortunately, the stutters always come back after some time.
It’s Asobo who has to fix this.

Yep. I tried so many solutions, fixed it for a while and then.. appeared out of nowhere again! This time i cant do anything about it! This is only in MSFS2024 i never had this issue on any other game
