Here’s the first half of the flight plan for Tasmania:
I wanted to get a variety of landscapes (mountains, plains and so on) in the front half, focused on getting the best bang for my buck. Knowing little about Tasmania, I googled photos to get a better idea of what the areas looked like. This was the end result.
I’ll tweak it a little bit once I do the actual test flight to make sure everything is fine, but apart from that, this is what the finished product will resemble (for the most part).
Here’s the back half:
Same process as above. I included Flinders because it’s just too nice to ignore, so I thought I’d make that the last stop for this bush trip.
On to the Gold Coast:
I’ll be splitting this into 2 smaller trips with 4 stops each. As soon as Tasmania is done, I’ll release the Gold Coast next.
I’ve got 2 more areas of Australia I’d like to hit after, but those are a bit further behind in terms of development.
