I’m a casual player who really enjoyed MSFS 2020, especially the auto/assist checklist feature. It made jumping into the game easy and fun.
I’m not sure why the auto checklist feature is missing in MSFS 2024 but it’s honestly disappointing. I literally start in the air every time, and youtube tutorials don’t help much!!
I’ve seen others asking for this since launch but there is still no solution.
Without this feature, the game honestly feels like it’s only worth half the price.
You’re not adding simple tutorials in the game and you have ditched this important feature..
Hi, while I am not a dev, nor do I have anymore access to devs other than you or anyone else posting here who is not a dev, I will hazard a guess to make conversation: Career mode. The assisted checklists are one of my favorite features of 2020, they make putting up a quick flight possible, even in the Dreamliner. The Career orientation of 24 probably made the checklist assist approach contra to the overall game design, or was perhaps too difficult to code concurrently, but that is just a guess.
Not true, console users would not benefit at all.
Checklists are very helpful to console users who have no access to an aircraft manual when they purchase a new aircraft, the interactive checklist option in FS2020 is a must have for many many users and with the incoming wave of PS pilots I’d say essential.
I serioulsy doubt any “modders” would do anything of any use for them.
@Pilotfirst9999 I am not pursuing a career in 24, so I have no idea really if one can start a career flight in the air. What I was responding to, very broadly, was the following:
Simply, it might just be that Career functionality is primary in 24, and auto complete checklists were just not what they wanted for Careers, so it got left behind in 2020. Make sense?
Ok no worries there. Free flight is basically all I do myself, and I always start my flights on the ground. What, if anything, can we here share to help you getting your free flights started. Over time, I have made my own checklists outside of the sim, on an iPad. What kind of flying do you like to do?
