Autopilot = 1 is not working, what else?

Hi, how are you all? Is there any way to enable the autopilot core in the VL-3? I already tried “almost” every possible “fix” for this…

  • systems.cfg
    [AUTOPILOT]
    autopilot_available = 1
    flight_director_available = 1
    default_roll_mode = 1
    default_pitch_mode =1
  • engines.cfg
    [DISABLED_CONTROLS]
    DisableAutopilotControls = 0

Tried the WT, the buttons won’t go green. Tried the PMS750, the AP option is not available. Yes, the AP toggle is set to “Z” and I also have a hotas switch for that, it just don’t work.

I also know there is a Rotax 935 mod with a working AP, however I want to stick with the stock one… so can someone give me a hand?

I moved your post to the SDK subcategory, where it’s more likely that there are people who might know how to answer your question. Based on some posts I have seen in the past, it looked like these two lines would have worked:

autopilot_available = 1
flight_director_available = 1

Not sure why they might not anymore. You may also be interested in this Wishlist topic, which is a feature request to have autopilot added:

Thanks but unfortunately these “fixes” won’t work for me unfortunately.

Seems ok here:
