I had no problem getting the autpilots working on most of the planes ive flown. Last week I got the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle and now, I can not get the autopilot to follow the magenta line. Ive tried all the planes including Carenado and none of them will follow. I only mention the brave throttle, because that seems to be when this issue started. Everything seems to be working fine on the throttle and the autopilot, does engage and light up, it even maintains altitude, but will not track the line. Im not sure what to try next, other than unplugging the throttle, which I would hate to do.
I only got my Bravo throttle three days ago and haven’t actually got around to testing NAV mode on a flight plan.
So, I just loaded in a flight I had saved from Cape Town and gave it a go in the C 172 Garmin
As you can see, I’m still on climb out, I set up target altitude and VS on the runway, took off and hit the NAV button then the AP button on the Bravo and it just wheeled around and gradually closed with the magenta line, overshot it a bit and then followed it nicely.
Edit: Must add that I’m running an app that gets rid of the 10 degree heading bug. But I don’t think that would make any difference following a course in NAV mode.
