Average 'Login Queue' Times

I disagree with this, we shouldn’t be encouraging divides in players, we’ve all given Asobo / MS money for this dumpster fire. You’re not better than the rest of us because you were gullible enough to give them more of your money.

No. Game Pass is an absolute joke. It cannibalizes people who actually want to play the game, and ensures that almost nobody get’s to play on “day one”, for what? $20 a month? The divide is already created by the fact that this is being given away for a flat rate, to players who most-likely couldn’t give a monkeys about the sim community in general.

I did the install at 18:00 WET got stuck at 97% until around 21:00 when it CTD, reloaded it and went into login queue and has been there for the last 8 hours

All i know is this is BS

Can we get an estimate for how long the queue arrangement will be in place?

79 minutes was recorded in Steam at the time I posted the comment. This didn’t include the hour I had been waiting in the queue in my live session, as Steam doesn’t update the game time live. So at 139 minutes I had exceeded the 2 hours of game time allowed, even though I hadn’t actually played the game at all.

yeaahhh that’s unfortunate. At least it seems like it’s been getting better.

For me about 36 minutes (time for queue, but loading was realtivle fine) at now.

No queue at all just now. Load time was 60 seconds. I’m in Alberta Canada

I second that, same for me, no more queue

My initial in the “login Queue” was about 40 mins…then it moved on to the setup menus.
Upon a forced restart becuse of the “career mode” freeze…I am not watching a very long load time for “language” and now “package” activations. Approx. another 35 mins so far for these. :frowning:

Same here, no queue, but unable to load anything within the sim. Perpetual spinning wheel trying to start a flight.

I have gotten in twice in the last hour by closing and restarting. But once you are in, the server problems just get worse. The best server I could find is running at 88ms.

I downloaded over the period of an hour from launch time (16:00Z) but the sim wasn’t working once into it, Identity section, lack of aircraft and eventual CTD trying to spawn into an airport. I then spent the whole evening (UK) with repeated queuing and server error screens, actually loading into the sim once over about an hour but again CTD during spawning. There were a few more aircraft showing then though. Finally after 01:00 UK time I got into the sim in minutes with a full complement of aircraft for the Premium Deluxe Version and was able to spawn the Cessna 172 and fly, and in VR. Controller bindings took some sorting and I couldn’t really comment on the scenery graphics as I had started in bad low visibility weather which I then couldn’t change while flying - in VR or 2D.
By about 06:00 I could create a new flight with a different aircraft and airport but the airport scenery was corrupted and on subsequent attempts the spawning process froze and I could do no more. I could reload the sim quite quickly but it would freeze during loading into the airport. Server getting busy again I suppose.

Try to uninstall Msfs, then go to %appdata% then MicrosoftFlightSimulator2024 delete the folder then restart your pc. Then reinstall it. That worked for me the first time it wouldn’t launch.
It took me 12 hours of tinkering to finally get in past the queue…

Hey folks! I can confirm, at least on my xbox series X with the standard version, you no longer have to wait in a queue! Be careful going to big airports, and be prepared for crashes, but you are able to fly, which is nice!
