So given that 2020 and 2024 currently both have the same amount of concurrent Steam users, where 2020 is still working ok, I wonder if only increasing server capacity is going to help 2024 much.
I don’t know how many Store users we have online, but Steam avg 6000 doesn’t sound like a shockingly high number that could cripple a decent server park. Even when streaming a lot of data.
If root cause is coding, we’re in for a long bumpy ride again that may be even worse than 2020. It took 2+ years to get 2020 somewhat steady.
