Only thing I can tell is the recog lights work properly now
OKAY, so not just me. Update, no notes.
On the brake issue, differential breaking doesn’t work, but other than that the brakes work well enough to put it on its nose if not careful. What is the brake issue?
Differential braking does work. But only below like 5 mph. The problem however, is that the brakes are backwards. They animate correctly in the cockpit, but they are swapped right and left when applied.
That explains A LOT…
Easy fix is cross your legs and put your left foot on the righthand pedal and visa versa
Is there a ticket for this?
Have they fixed the pop out Garmin Aera orientation?
Probably not. Can you describe the issue?
If you want to view the Garmin Aera on a second monitor (right ALT + left click) it pops out with landscape orientation. On the VC panel this instrument has a portrait orientation.
Bug was sent to Zen Desk couple weeks ago, like usual nothing done. Patch released, nothing for the Husky addressed or fixed. Asobo always a day late, dollar short.
I would expect a SU to fix this kind of problem…not a WU
This update was just for the aircraft. SU/WU shouldn’t figure in to an individual add-on aircraft update at all.
Lets just do business as normal, sell me something else, then fix these simple items on the husky in a year or so. At this point in the juncture, if they are going to start adding 3rd party items of their own, then Asobo should have a dedicated team just for this, and they should release their own hot-fix ASAP.
I actually really like this. I like the cockpit layout, it looks good, feels quite robust and like it has substance in it’s handling, has a fair amount of power (although I agree with some that it feels a touch underpowered) and I think the liveries are fantastic. Thumbs up from me so far.
I agree. It’s my go-to bush plane right now.
Oof, that’s not ideal.
right ALT + left click also has quite a performance hit.
Of course that is a generic sim issue and has nothing to do with the Husky, all aircraft have that issue .
The FPS hit affects all airplanes. That’ very true. Kind of annoying as all windows are undockable. There is no alternative for digital panels if you want them on a second screen.
For analog ones I use Air Manager with strong results and no impact at all.
I think this Husky bug is disappointing. A very quick test would show the screen tilted 90 degrees left. Hard to believe they released the plane with this bug.
Question for any former purcheser? Do you chose which model or do you get all three. There are time it wold be nice to have wheels and other time I would like some water work. Never having flown Skis it would be fun to try that as well.
