Have to download them in marketplace?
That was kind of my reaction, nice as it looks I think I’m already sorted.
The plane is so fun, it can do more things than I expected hahaha
On close examination of the Husky A-1C it seems to be well rendered and capable little Aircraft.
Perhaps this latest addition to the Market Place by Asobo could’ve been a Gratis Up Date and included as a featured Aircraft in the Sim.
As such this would surely be well regarded as a fitting gesture of Good Will to Asobo’s loyal Supporters and especially in light of the present disatisfaction that abounds as a result of SU5’s problems which have yet to be fully resolved.
£12.49 is not a large sum of money but perhaps Asobo really needs to prioritise sorting out the SU5 issues before introducing a marketing enterprise such as the A-1C.
Kind regards to The Asobo Team and all their Supporters and that includes us.
Thou dost excel in diplomacy, good sir!
I have flown it a number of times and think it is a great little aircraft but I do see see the float or ski versions in the main aircraft window, although the files seem to exist in main folder. Anyone else have this issue?
It doesn’t exactly feel underpowered, takeoff and climb feel pretty good, but I agree that cruise speed does seem too low. According to the manufacturer, cruise speed at 75% power should be around 140mph. The best I can get here is 125mph at full power.
This is the first amphibian plane that actually has water rudders that work and work really well.
Hopefully the knowledge of how it was done will be transferred into the other amphibians which have a turning circle measured in miles!

AH’s Cessna 140 floatplane handles nicely on the water, although it’s not an amphibian, just straight floats. Or maybe you meant Asobo’s “first party” amphibians. Nice to hear I guess but it makes the problems with the 172 and X-Cub all the more frustrating, since it proves Asobo is capable of getting it right.
Can the Husky steer on land alright? The X-Cub and 172 aren’t even taxiable on hard surfaces for a lot of people (can’t turn tight enough to negotiate a taxiway).
No obvious problems steering the amphibian on land.
Yeah, that was kinda disappointing…
Hopefully some user will figure out how to add the paint jobs to all the variants.
Flew it for a short while and plane is fun and looks pretty well made, I haven’t had time to get into the ins-and-outs of the flight model, but so far seems /to-par/ with others bush planes in the base so atm no real complains considering that’s what was I expecting. Having the 796 in there is nice and gives a good middle ground and variation compared to the aircraft in the base and quite good value for money considering ~£12 price when has the bigger tires and floats included.
My only gripe so far is that the liveries are only for the small wheel variant as others have said, not the 3 other versions, so hopefully that’s corrected. Though likely wouldn’t effect my personal enjoyment as would likely paint my own livery anyway.
For those commenting on how it’s the same as Xcub and so on - it’s a bit like me looking at a tubeliner and saying well they all look the same why would you need another?
Personally I’d like to see them continue to make more planes, of all types, we sure have our study-level ones from our favourite 3rd party makers, but its good to have a bit of variety same time. With so much of whats made by the rest of 3rd party not even meeting the standards of base planes more official options that do is certainly welcome
Watched the promo video.
It screams out for some decent Tundra tires.

Well I bought it…No idea why, the sim still isn’t fixed but whatever, I was curious. IMHO its better than the one I have for X-Plane, but as always that Flight Model is hmm, well… I dont know, but then again it cost’s 1/2 as much… However I found it to be quite delightful If I am honest.
Add-on airports, OrbX’s new GB add-on cant remember the name, OrbX EGNT, OrbX or a 3rd party CYBD and not a CTD in Sight!
There’s a tundra tire version included, you can see in the aircraft selection screenshot posted in this thread.
I’m among those who gets a crashing sim when I try to download my new purchase, both from the market place page as well as from the content manager. Comeon Asobo, get your stuff together and make this work!
Do you feel the surface tension pushing you up ?
Do the wheels rotate when touching the watter ?
Can you see the wheels from the normal pilot position ?
Edit: I tested it, and no such effects, just white water traces. This is garbage compared to the Savage Carbon and Savage Grravel
It actually flies very nicely. I could be Impressed! I just uploaded this so its the lowest quality until YouTube process the 2k version…I think
Where are you seeing this? Aviat’s website says top speed is 149mph, so 140 at 75% power sounds unlikely to me. Although you should be able to get more than 125 also.
