I feel it is underpowered… It needs more power.
The 140 may be a little optimistic on their part but even at 55% power they claim 130.
The air speed indicator is knots, not mph. and 125 knots is about 144’ish mph if I am not mistaken.
The outer dial is mph, and I was getting about 111 kts
I was under the impression this was going to be free, you know, like a sim update or world update. I’m guessing the Ju 52 will also be paid? sure as hell will cost more than 15 bucks.
and another thing. the sim comes with 2 bush planes. if you bough premium deluxe you get an extra one. now another one? are bush planes really in this much high demand? seems to me like pretty much any other type of aircraft would be more desirable. I’d rather spend money on something I don’t already have.

Would this be the reaction if Asobo added a new airliner, when the sim comes with two and premium deluxe gives you another?
I will always be at least potentially interested in more bush planes as it’s basically my favorite type of flying, although as the three Asobo bush planes are all basically Piper Cub/Super Cub derivatives I’ll probably pass and save my money for something different, since the broad category of bush planes embraces a lot. Can’t wait for the MilViz Beaver, or a Cessna 185, or a 206, or maybe even for someone to make a Noorduyn Norseman.
Your complaints are also somewhat contradictory. It’s a payware addon. Those who want more bush planes can pay for it. If you don’t, don’t.
not complaining, just saying, seems like it would make more sense to sell something a bit more different than what you’re already giving away and already selling. I also didnt mention airliners at any point. maybe something with 4 propellers, an experimental aircraft of sorts? something uncommon. although there does seem to be a higher demand for airliners. but me personally I would prefer something smaller, like a regional airliner or island hopper. the Cirrus Vision Jet also is very cool. would definetly buy if the price is right and has no bugs.
To add to your Garmin Aera findings, there also appears to be some graphical issues when you pop out the window – on what should be the bottom row of buttons on the display, you can see a horizontal strip of the landscape (which mirrors the primary view) with a hefty amount of focal blur.
Futhermore, the text in the buttons (Map/Direct-To/Nearest/Flight Plan/WPT Info/3D Vision) and the text on the very top of the display (Map/time) seem to be partially transparent and becomes anti-aliased for the sky color/landscape. If you set the time to night it looks pretty much as it should, but during the day it has a blue/sky-colored fringe. If you pan the view from the primary display while looking at the Garmin Aera pop-out, it also emphasis this issue.
Thank you. I did notice that VS info on the map but shouldn’t we have that on synthetic view ?
I’m with you… while I purchased it (and will purchase more tail draggers as they become available), the Husky isn’t really bringing anything new to the table here, other than the opening door. The stall speeds are worse/higher than the existing tail draggers and the avionics package is inferior to the g3x on the xcub, and something about the flight model is bothering me…
These particular Huskys, from what I understand, are supposed to have slightly more forward-mounted main gear, adding additional length/linear stability. The tail is supposed to come up slower on the ground and you’re supposed to be able to brake harder when landing with less risk of a prop strike. Compared to the xcub and the zlins, I’m not noticing much difference in the performance department.
It might just be the sound design, but the flap action is… different. The flaps are certainly functioning, but if it wasn’t for the wind noise increase, you wouldn’t be sure you engaged them. With a FFB joystick, there is no change on the control forces, so I suspect there’s more to it than sound effects alone.
Also nitpick warning: when viewing externally, the tailwheel spring connectors (that connect to the steering arm assembly) have chain link geometry that scales when you use the rudders, heh. Again, just nitpicking, but it’s a little funny to see a solid chain link stretch and not the spring The other default traildraggers don’t have stretchy springs, but the effect remains more convincing than the Husky.

What type of plane is not present in the Sim ?
i prefer purchasing an aircraft from a company that has knowledge and passion of avaiation and flying.
Are you using a rolling cache? I resolved a lot of my stability problems by turning it off
Please can someone who has purchased the Husky inform us if the water rudders actually make any difference ?
They do. Of all airplanes with floats i own (including Widgeon and L19) this one appears the best to me with water rudders down.
I don’t know about the Widgeon but the Bird Dog has water rudders that are completely ineffective. All of the amphibians are the same. If the water rudders work on the Husky this will be the first amphibian to have this function. This makes me wonder why functioning water rudders were not implemented on the other float plane releases…
So it seems if anyone has a negative opinion here the post gets flagged???
I mean awesome plane!!!
There are some reviews on youtube already. I recommend the review from AvAngel.
