After the last patch, the bus1 and bus2 avionics (were working fine) no longer work. I’ve unmapped and remapped them multiple times exactly like I did before. VERY annoying that stuff that WAS working keeps getting broken. Not a very impressive track record fellas.

I think you may have misunderstood what BoboSkypark was trying to say.
The issue is MSFS-2024 claims to have a much more realistic modeling of aircraft electrical systems. As a result, they are more complex. As a consequence, the mapping category “Airplanes” no longer works for lots of aircraft.
Example, these bindings do nothing in certain planes, like the C172 Skyhawk:
Note how to the left of each mapping are the terms “Airplanes” and “Digital”. Due to the MSFS-2024 change, you need to scroll farther down and find the ones listed as “Specific”.
Instead, you should go into your Honeycomb Alpha bindings and map these items to the switches:
Again thank you. I DID understand what he was saying. I think it’s the other way around. I already had them working perfectly in the skyhawk on my skyhawk specific control settings. They had been working for 2 weeks.
The patch came, now they DON’T work. I don’t know how to make that any clearer.
Hmm. Very odd. My bindings/switches are working fine. Is it only the Avionics switches that aren’t working? And is the HCA working to control Avionics in other aircraft? (would you be willing to try in a C152 or a C208B real quick?)
You might try mapping your switches to both “Avionics Bus 1 ON” and “Avionics Bus 1 SET”. Give the game 2 chances to recognize that flipping that switch means you want the avionics on.
I am wondering if some how you are fighting some type of conflict with the sims horrid control mappings (possibly some type of corruption). Have you ever though about using external binding software? It will save you a ton of frustration in the long run but would take a little investment on the front end to learn the software.
Interesting to note that these are keyboard bindings and work well if you use a keyboard or a device such as the Axair Mili or Axair Miap which make use of keyboard signals. I tested these on both a PC and Xbox.
If you use a controller such as the Honeycomb Alpha the bindings are different (not available with other controllers as far as I am aware)
Electrical Bus 1 to Avionics Bus 1 On (replaces Avionics Master Bus 1)
Electrical Bus 1 to Avionics Bus 1 Off (replaces Avionics Master Bus 1) etc.
As I don’t own a Honeycomb Alpha the ‘Electrical Bus 1 to Avionics Bus 1’ settings cannot even be found on either my PC or my Xbox.
Strange the bindings were not only changed but seem to differ from one controller to the next which adds another level of complexity.
