Just bought it instead of arcadish C-130 of CS. Made a 6h flight, overall nicely done (fuel system, sound) BUT again emerged my main issue with these halfstudy planes (crj, c-160, a320neo etc) - boring boring time between climb and descentā¦ No failures and stress make this planes actiones practically sleepy, in dc-6 or Duke or comanche there is as always something to think about, something to fix, something to preventā¦ C-160 is just cruising.

Thatās how real aircraft work, the failures and the āalways something to think aboutā are as arcadish as the CS C-130. In the Dukes and Comanche if you have a proper power setting there is nothing to think about while cruising, just monitoring the instruments as in any other plane including the C-160.
We need a Blackbird or a U2 to make the cruising really interesting, there you have always something to think about for real.

real aircraft are not perfect machinesā¦ and this imperfection is a MUST element of study level plane for me.
Did you turn the failures ON ?
AzurpolyC-160 does bird droppings all over the CS c-130 its so much better and it has a working flight computer. I flew it from YBBN Brisbane Australia to KSFO San fran recently in a 22 hour flight. I was curious to see how far i could go. I had some fuel left over so their fuel calculations are not correct, I notified them.
Loved the DC-6. With all the vids by PMDG really taught me things and made me a better pilot.
Its why i loved the DC-6 Yes always something to do, modern AP Airliners are a snooze fest.
Also to note Maxuss, blackbird simulations has a C-130 which i looked at in development and its far better than the Captain Sim version which are all the same cockpit wise with small variations. I dont have 2024 yet but I imagine the Blackbird c130 has a digital cockpit, something that the CS version does not. Check that out 
Xbox fs2020 here, default failures are broken on consoles since I rember 
They are triggered instantly at startup. Only custom failure systems work here (Pmdg, a2a, BSā¦
I doubt D30 will come to consoles according to blackbird statementā¦
The Blackbird/Milviz āDirty 30ā is very promising - the last update made it less of a hot mess for me, and actually an enjoyable flyer ā but itās not at the level of the Transall yet. Iām sure it will get there eventually - will be great to have two medium-lift cargo options!

I had hoped to get better performance with the native FS2024 version, but thatās not the case. 25 fps without frame generation and stuttery 50 fps with frame generation.
Ryzen 7800X3D and RTX 4080 Super 16GB at 1080p.
For me the 2024 native version starts engines by itself with battery switch off and cond. levers cut off. This happened twice when I just left it alone.
Iām a bit confused. Is the 2024 version a free upgrade to those that own the 2020 version, or is this a paid upgrade or separate version?

I canāt say I have the same experience. Iāve got a very nice performance with the FS24 native version (~100 fps with 2x FG on Intel Ultra 9 + RTX5080 with reasonable settings) and no engines autostart. The only thing I was struggling with was the AP not following my flightplan (it seems that the FMS and GTN650 unit clash each other), but I got it sorted out and now cruising. Love the airplane.

For native 2024 if u have 2020 / 2024 compatible version u have to pay 10 dollar, if not 40 :)ā¦ FS 2020 now has received a cut in the price after the 2024 version release
Shouldnāt be that much. I donāt own an older version and itās only $27.99.
yes price before fs 2024 native release was about 33
I have version 1.5.0. Is that the update? I thought they were getting a new sound pack. The date on the update in 2020 is Aug 7th.
yes it is the current version of fs 2020 aircraft, but after they release the native fs 2024 aircraft v 1.0
