This is very very good but I think it is now abandonware. Unsure if JustFlight can confirm or not if they have had any news from the dev.
This one came out on the 22nd on Just Flight. Their original one, the MiG-15bis, was earlier last year. I assume that’s a good sign for Bear Studio but not sure if the prior one has seen many updates.
i think so, too, but I wanted to infrom some people. Maybe someone find this bird interesting.
My bad I didn’t realize it was the trainer (UTI). I do have the bis so I’m not paying again for a very similar version. As you have said if this means the dev is active it is a good sign but still the original product has never ever received an update.
This new one is double the price too. That’s expensive for what might end up as abandonware part 2.
Well, this one has 2 cockpits:) - 2 pilots -so, double the price:)))
Some gauges (AChS-1, G-meter, whiskey compass) are placed not traditionally, may be a local modification, and this looks more useful in the simulator - no need to scroll through the cockpit.
Hmm, there are two installer .exes downloadable through SimMarket, with the same version number but one has an “a” at the end of the filename. Different file sizes, upload times two seconds apart.
Any idea which one I should be installing?
It looks like the price has dropped. When I first compared, it was $45 USD vs $25 for the original. Still grossly too much for either considering the utter lack of support
I really like this plane so I will paste here my (fsdeveloper) chat with Wolfgen (dev) to clarify payload, fuel and system customization method which is different from mig15bis, generally there is no EFB in UTI version:

I add EFB/KB in MiG-15Bis, for the only reason is retro RSI-6M russian radio have no method setting frequency directly to 50 band storage in aircraft. that need integrated panel for that operating.
The UTI aircraft RSIU-3 radio just has 4 band for frequencies, using GNS 430`s expend radio management and RSIU control box can set it easier than MiG-15Bis.
