Beechcraft Model 18 Pitch Knob Bindings Do Not Work

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Despite Dev Mode showing the control bindings for the AP Pitch Knob/Wheel as Knob_verticalspeed_1_UP and DOWN, neither of these actually control the pitch. Also another H:instrument pitch variable will control the visible wheel but does nothing for pitch.

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Tried all permutations and values to get control binding shown in Dev Mode to work.

  2. Tried other common pitch variables

  3. Tried common Vertical Speed variables - nothing works.

Using 2024 on PC, full Hotas and VKB control gear.

Is this could be the same issue than reported for the FS2020 version ? (various buttons are reported as non working under a specific condition): Beechcraft Model 18 - Virtual cockpit autopilot buttons don't work when landing lights are on

Thanks for the reply but everything else on the autopilot works, and it works with the mouse, just not with the exact same control bindings that MSFS Dev Mgr says is knob_verticalspeed_1_UP/DOWN. Another H:Instrumentation event actually moves the wheel animation, but no pitch data. There’s a screwup in the coding somewhere.
