Best ultralight with VFR instruments?

In real life I’m training to fly in an Evektor Eurostar 97.

It is for VFR flight only, so the primary instruments are only ASI, VSI, Compass, RPM, Roll Indicator.

I’m looking for a similar aircraft in the sim. The EuroFox is the closest, but it’s not low wing.

There’s another ultralight with low wing, but it’s got quite an advanced glass cockpit set up for high tech IFR.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Maybe FSReborn Sting S4?

Hi - just had a Look.

This also has a high tech cockpit, unfortunately

I’ve discovered recently Flyboy’s Rans S6S Coyote II:

3 versions (4, with the float version coming with the next update), analog cockpit (ASI, VSI, Compass, RPM, Roll Indicator) and one of the best flight dynamics that I’ve found in a ultralight addon.

Right now on sale on the market.

Zlin Shock Ultra..though not low wing. You should change the title to be more specific for low wing.

maybe this list will help:

Moved to Discussion Hub Discussion Hub > Aircraft that is more appropriate for this kind of request.

Have you tried DV20 or DA40TDI?
And what about PA-38 Tomahawk, which is a paid add-on?
They are all low wing and side-by-side aircraft.

Just Flight - PA-38 Tomahawk (MSFS)

Yes we really do need a Eurostar! I’d of thought that by now MSFS 2024 would have developed one for the sim as there are many of us real pilots here that would like to see this happen.

I Agree , We definetly need a EUROSTAR EV97 in the SIM

Its one of the most popular Microlight that is very GA based, i’m surprised its not already in the sim tbh as its very popular.

The Rans S6S coyote II and Whittaker MW6 are solid low wing options with basic vfr instruments just like the eurostar. If you’re cool with a glass cockpit, the Searey elite might work though it’s a bit fancier.

I had a look, but they’re not quite the same as a low-wing Eurostar EV97. That’s the one I’m really after—it’s such a popular aircraft in real life, so I’d have thought they’d have added it by now. Bit disappointing, to be honest

Did you consider the DV-20? I am afraid you won’t get any closer at the moment; yes there is GPS etc. but you can just ignore it or open some menu page to make it useless for the eye
