I have an amazing team behind, and I am really missing my lovely little Icon Ikarus C42 in the sim so I thought I will create it. With that in mind, we will need people to put our lovely airplane to the test.
So if there are any RL pilots here currently flying a C42 please contact me. We are really looking for people to put the aircraft tot he test up and down in order to make it as real life as any possible.
The model is currently primary coded for msfs-2020 but will definitively be available for MSFS 2024 in the future.
So if
you have hours on a C42B or even better are actively flying it
I have just passed my PPL and have got a share in C42. Will start my differences training next week. I am also a software developer, so hope I can be a help with testing.
Although I have moved to MSFS2024 I can still run MSFS2020. Used the latter to compliment my RL training on a PA28.
Hi Cranberry13 (I LOVE Cranberries!)! We are currently attending the Microsoft Partner Program and hope to hear back from MSFS in regard to that. But yes if MS allows that we will have it available on all MSFS stores.
The reason why I came up with the idea of building this aircraft was exactly that in order to allow new (student) pilots to fly the aircraft in MSFS and save some money. I am doing my NPPL currently as well in a C42.
Hi, I’m a licensed light sport pilot on the Ikarus C42B, and I’d love to share my feedback on the aircraft. There used to be a decent C42 model for X-Plane, but it’s quite outdated by now. I even considered creating a new version for MSFS, but eventually gave up after realizing how complex the process is
