Amazing – great work.
How does the system deal with Asobo objects like Airport vehicle Traffic and airport personnel ?

Turn off collision detection? Easy fix!
What Collision detection ? In MSFS, planes run into vehicles and people, and vehicles drive through planes !!!
Beyond ATC has no control over those, they will continue to drive through you.
Maybe one day, someone will make a BeyondGroundObjects
I think eventually, they’ll incorporate it into ground vehicles.
i still live in hope that this will come to XBOX, but i am not going to hold my breath, we need something like this.
I wonder if this routing system will work with FS Traffic or other traffic injector?
Seems promising so far.
As this will come with its own injector it will not need any other injector anymore.
I’m really looking forward to this. The dream version would be integrated into vatsim, populating ATC that is not done by live controllers. However I’ll be really satisfied if it would be fine as a standalone solution.
I’m a bit afraid about it using MSFS taxiway letters instead of the real ones as there are quite a lot of differences and of course charts do not align with MSFS, so charts would become unusable.
Also since it will be its own traffic injector, will it only use aircraft and liveries I own, or will it have AI models like some other injectors?
All your questions are covered (if not answered - it’s still in development!) on the Beyond ATC Discord channel.
But briefly, it is intended to use information from within MSFS, so whatever you’ve got loaded, charts, airports etc., will be from there. As for aircraft it will use whatever flight models you have - I’ve got both FSLTL and AIG (both free) and it looks like they will work.
Go to the Discord fr the latest and best information - but don’t ask when it’ll be released!
Thanks for the answers!
I’m a bit worried about taxi routes, but we will see how it will work once it releases. Maybe if it’d give in the dialogue window a sketch, similar to the one shown in the latest video, that would be a help
Why are you “worried” about taxi routes. Not argumentative just curious. I am impressed.
Taxi route designators on non handcrafted airports are auto generated and thus completely different to real life. So if BATC will tell me to taxi to holding point A2 at RWY15 via C D E2 E A that could be on the actual airport chart holding point K2 at RWY15 via J F L3 N K
Ok, i can understand your point. There is nothing other than supposition that you can base that point on now until it is released and that occurs. Trust and hope for the best.
You make a good point actually. My guess is, it’ll either do a scan of your world and community folders to check what’s installed. Also, it says on the website, ‘customisable data’, so it could rely on the community to create “files”, a bit like GSX does?
One to watch I guess.
Oh it’s just nitpicking, if BATC does what it promises to do I consider myself sold. I understand BATC can not solve this easily unless Microsoft takes its time and ticks this item off the whislist.
It has been said by the BATC devs that it is using the existing APIs to get all of the airport data, so you’ll be fine for any 3rd party add-ons.
Also like GSX users will be able to make fixes for specific airports and enhance them with procedures etc, but unlike GSX you won’t have to manage a whole mess of files downloaded from all over the internet, they will be centrally managed in some way (yet to be described).
So I think it’s fair to say they’ve thought of the taxiway naming problem and have solutions planned.
the functions looking good, but I don’t like the big window
