In FS2020 i have the Honeycomb yoke. The bindings I set up had worked fine since i bought it years ago. Not some of the bindings aren’t doing what they’re supposed to., I’ve reloaded sim a few times, still on Win 10, Reverb G2. All updates are fine. Tried with no addon’s. Same issue. The one in particular is the cockpit reset. I used to be able while in VR mode to click on it and it would re-center me back to pilot position. Now it does nothing although the binding says its set right. I’ve looked for a conflicting binding but find none. Also elevator trim wont work. I’m not sure when it all happened or what caused it. As I said I’ve deleted Win 10 a couple times and did a fresh install. Apparently no updates for this Honeycomb yoke as it says windows will update it if needed. Any you guys help me out.
I have the same problems, no conficting keybindings and in 2020 everything is working normal. In Beech baron propelers sometimes jumping, mixture from the left engine, if i close it the engine stops but the lever in the baron goes forward again and the engine starts running. Running pc version, su2, ms store, also tried with no addons. I do have 2020 and 2024 on separate drives.
I have the HC Alpha Yoke and Bravo Throttle Quadrant, but haven’t noticed any missing individual event assignments in a profile.
However, I have had device profiles not saving between sessions and voted on the issue in the Bug reporting channel. This may be a different issue though!
Well I’m glad I’m not the only one then. I thought it was something I was doing wrong. Pain deleting Windows and reinstall and load everything back up. I’ll keep playing around. Maybe something will show up one day. I use the VR all the time and its a pain not being able to get back into the pilots seat or at least to where your in front of the seat rather than leaning ahead all the time. Wont reset that view. Used to be able. Throttle quadrant is the same. At times theyre backwards is a flight or your sitting and throttle starts going up for no reason. Got to be a conflict. Maybe coming from an update in Windows. I dont know.
I did get this from Justflight as reply to a support request I made for one of their planes and that solved a couple of my problems. For my bravo only some switches were different. Not all but the right switch was start / stop and that triggered my problem. Underneath their answer.
Something that I did notice when I connected my Honeycomb equipment yesterday to test this is that MSFS2024 had reset all my controls to defaults and was refusing to load my custom saved command sets for the Bravo quad.
This meant that the right-most switch on the Bravo quad (the one under the autopilot INCR/DECR rotary switch) was set to auto-run and auto-stop. With the top of the switch in, no matter what else was set, it kept the aircraft 100% alive. With the bottom of the switch in, the aircraft was 100% shut down. I could try and start it, controls would move, then snap back to the “off” or “closed” position. It may be worth you checking that this is not the case for you as well, but otherwise, can you please check that you do not have multiple controls assigned for the relevant functions, please?
