It appears that MSFS is automatically utilizing integrated graphics, but seems to be using the VRAM onboard the dedicated Quadro P4200. This is causing the game to be playable at a steady fps on 1080 medium settings, but with serious stutters due to high CPU usage (along with my laptop ramping up to frying egg temperatures).
Although I am gaming on a Quadro, this effect doesn’t happen in any other game. This next screenshot is me running World of Warships at 1080 max settings, yet the dedicated graphics card is being utilized.
I’ve tried to run MSFS with the Quadro through NVIDIA control panel but it isn’t listed as a program. I am running the latest Quadro and Intel drivers, so what gives? My engineering/gaming laptop specs are as follows:
MSI WS-63 8SL-015
i7 8750H
512 GB NVME SSD
Intel UHD Graphics 630
NVIDIA Quadro P4200
Thanks for your time.
