Blackbird Simulations News/ Updates

Not sure if there is a thread for it but I don’t want to end my weekend without saying to Colin how amazing the SR71 is.

That was a heck of a job. I’m not sure why you call it an early access…

Thanks for the hard work on such a wonderful aircraft!

Thanks for that… I will let the team know. They all worked crazy hard on it.

Sorry, I have been off the map, and I am not up to date with the latest developments. Has there been any news on the T-38?

I would like to know this as well. I imagine not, but it would be really nice to know for sure either way.

I can’t answer that

Marketplace version should be up shortly. Xbox… we’d like to test it first.

We’ve tested the SR on the Xbox X and it’s working fine. For the S… unsure as we don’t have one.

FWIW, I have one of each, and I’m yet to notice a difference in how any third party aircraft runs on the S in 2024. There was a definite clear difference in 2020, for sure, but something changed

That’s very exciting news, I could spend most the holiday high and fast!!! :mx_claus: :airplane:! Thanks.

Merry Xmas to all! (and to those who don’t celebrate… Happy Holidays!)

FYI: We are off duty till the 5th of January but, we have a list of stuff to be fixed as soon as we’re back…. and we’ve done a big push on the 130J which will be going out the door shortly.

Thanks for your loyalty!

That’s the way it works. We have 2026 soon and Asobo maybe starts developing MSFS2028 in a few months. If so, there might be another new Corsair in 2028.

And I will gladly buy it as well…..

Any news about the F16 ?

In testing now.

Will it come for Xbox?

Maybe. No promises.

You mentioned that you are developing a Block 50/52. Are you going to include a GE Big mouth and a PW Small mouth Viper?

Short answer… yes. Long answer… pretty sure that’s the only difference between the two blocks.

If i would set everything on "easy/unrealistic “ on the Blackbird. (And Msfs24 flightmodel settings on easy too) Would the SR-71 be flyable without looking into the manual? Excuse me for this question.

That’s hard to say. We have no idea what your piloting skill level is…
