Nothing has been announced about it, including a release date - so it was never “delayed” at least not publicly. It simply has not launched yet.
Also I don’t believe Asobo had any involvement in this aircraft - it was developed by Blackbird and owned by Microsoft.
@zadma Dev roadmap 2025 : famous flyer 13 : T38A. I had read somewhere that Asobo was developing it in parallel with the one from Aero Dynamics.
I understand the T-38A is already available in PS5 however I haven’t seen a single video or comment about it, very misterious.

I changed the topic title, you’re right, it’s not Asobo but Blackbird. But no news from MS/Asobo regarding this famous flyer.
Still some people do have it, but zero videos, screenshots, tutorials, nothing.
You might ask why do I care but with the Aerodynamics T38 available I wouldl ike to know which one I would like to have, the Aerodynamics is very nice but uses a spot in the top toolbar and an external app and I hate that so if the native one is good enough then ok, problem is I can’t compare them.
The only people who have it are PS5 users. Its not available to anyone else right now.
Im also intetested in the other T38 but it seems its only availiable to 1% of simmers as no one is sharing where to get it.
This is not true - while its release date has not been announced, they are not withholding an entire Famous Flyer from the majority of the community as a preorder bonus.

I’ve been wondering this for a while now. We’ve had FF14 for since early December, it’s odd that FF13 is still not out. There was a point where I was convinced it must have already released until I looked it up on the marketplace and it was nowhere to be found.
Thats because its ps5 pre order bonus only.
Ask someone with PS5 version who pre ordered either premium deluxe or aviator edition. I bet they have it.
That’s not true. While it was a free pre-order bonus for PS5 users, it was also announced to be coming to the marketplace by Jorg on the dev stream 3+ months ago:
“if you pre-order playstation [MSFS 2024] now you’re gonna get this Northrop T-38A Talon for free, and then people asked ‘is this also coming to the marketplace?’ and the answer is yes of course it is” - Jorg
No need to limit it to just those editions - all PS5 users who preordered any edition of the sim will have it.
Maybe there’s a time-limited period of PS5 exclusivity.

At a guess, I expect we’ll have to wait for the next dev stream for a release date announcement. Hopefully, there will be a dev stream sometime in February.
No, the Std version of msfs2024 did not get the Northrop. I have it in my ps5 hangar because I preordered. (I also find the process of transferring photos from ps5 to the forum rather tedious. Perhaps so do others)
It is not in my PC version.
I have not flown it simply because I prefer GA, airliners and older craft.
I did say to another pilot who was desperate for one ( becausethey had the Std version) that I would have gifted it but we are not allowed to do that, if ever.
Maybe you’ve misunderstood me - I never meant to suggest that you would own it on PC, but owners of standard edition of MSFS 2024 on PS5 who preordered did get the T-34 on their PlayStation instance of the sim.

And I wasn’t suggesting you had meant anything about the pc version, I was just differentiating btw ps5 and pc.
