Thank you. That works.

But why are they displayed in the first place when they are disabled in the assistance options?

We speculate in the career mode thread that hitting those rectangles is a strict requirement for several missions, and that these options are intentionally ignored in career mode in order to keep players from getting derailed.

But i am in free flight :joy:

And if thry want us to follow strict routing and altitude, they should rather include them in the briefing.
Even the “detailed briefing” of missions is not giving any altitudes or the full routing.

The briefing is more “wild west style” but rating is then quite strict without telling you what is expected.

I have seen that there is a bug that if you turn off BOTH the Taxi Ribbon and the Flight Path they go away, but thats ONLY in free flight, career mode, I have had no such luck.

The taxi ribbon and boxes are tied together. Only assistance i wanted on is the taxi ribbon. Even in free flight, i have to turn off taxi ribbon to torn off the boxes. Im using the workaround right now with a button mapped to turn off visual assists when im ready for takeoff.
