As the title says..I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this anomaly and knows of a solution. Most of my in game settings are on high/ultra, 5% sharpening Nvidia CP. Any help appreciated

It arrived many updates ago. Yes, it is well known and unfortunate. It does kill immersion at times.

Agree, fascinating subject to many people everywhere. ! I think a few of my friends over the years might have been ‘not of this world’. They are always wecome at my place.

I raised this issue on zendesk well over 9 months ago and nothing has been done about it. I have long since given up hoping this will ever be fixed. I think its limitations in their engine. You will also notice that where they place rivers it supresses any autogen trees that grow along the edges of those rivers that are visible on the photo scenery, another sim engine limitation I guess. They have a problem displaying water and 3D objects in some circumstances.
It’s bad, but its better than it used to be. One update in particular did this. Flying at dusk was kind of psychedelic. This was back in February 2021.
The most unfortunate thing is that I do not recall any of this when the sim originally launched.
