Boeing 707 as Famous Flyer 10!

If some of you are aircraft painter and you plan to make the TGA available on flightsim.to, To make it very real like in the Airport movie, only the left side of the plane was painted and the other side should remain Flying Tiger. I never seen a real TGA livery because painters are painting both sides what is wrong representation. At the moment of the movie making, the TGA B707 was still property of Flying Tiger.

Would love an older pre-glass screen heavy aircraft. Kinda feels like that era has been ignored by some add on devs.

This is the one that has meaning for me.

I think this is the best livery ever.

This is true, but the DC-8 was still flying civilian cargo well after all the civilian 707s outside of Iran were all retired> both were very versatile planes.

Not for me, but I still blame Air Canada for the demise of Canadian Airlines :stuck_out_tongue:

I miss Canadian Airlines too, I lost tens of thousands of points when they went under.

Still relevant to DC-8

This was also a cool livery.

I preferred the 87-99 Battleship livery, but they had stopped using the DC-8 at the time when the different airlines fused together to form Canadian Airlines.

I was a kid at the time when I passenger on one of their aircraft, my dad was working as a Flight Service Specialist for Transport Canada (that was before Nav Canada existed) and he was working in Kuujjuaq at the airport there, so when we had to go to Montreal, then back to Kuujjuaq, we would use Canadian North (although it happened a few time that it was another aircraft from another subsidiary, once it happened to be Canadian Holidays 737)

Funnily enough, at the time, Canadian Airlines was much more popular with Transport Canada employees than Air Canada, which was owned by the federal government until 1995

The DC-8 was retrofitted white the 707 wasn’t as per policy of Boeing, they tought that retrofitted 707s would compete with their then new 757.

Actually Boeing offered the retrofit, but the interest was so limited that they removed the option after 2 years because nobody bought one

Yellow is my favorite color and I love yellow liveries. I hope too. But don’t worry, it will come on flightsim.to

I wonder if AH will build on the commonality and release the other versions of the airframe separately, the same way ini did with the A300.

Of course this hinges on AH’s 707 not being complete trash, which I’m still holding out hope for.

They don’t typically do that. Hell, they don’t even really support their addons after release much at all, so I wouldn’t hold your breath for airframe variants.

Don’t worry about that. With the upcoming Aerial Simulation B707, we should have all variants including cockpits variants. AH B707 is just for few months until the new one release.

From one of the authors of the project.
“I can guarantee you, it’s a passion project and an immense amount of work is going into it! :flexed_biceps:t3: We will keep everyone posted as we go”

So I’m confident it will be very well done.

This one is looking really good, but we are yet to see a pic of the cockpit! The FSS 727 one is good but looks a bit off in some places.

I believe it’s supposed to be released Tuesday unless they push it back again. I’m so ready for this baby to release. Absolutely geeked.

I sure hope I’m wrong but the Aerial Sim 707 state looks like it’s a lot more than just a few months away from release.

No kidding, the A380 looked like it was finished 2 years ago and we’re still waiting for that one.

They talked about early 2025, will see. Anyway, it’s on the pipeline for 2025.
